It's Your Day - Make a Cut Monday

Hello!  I know I’ve said in my last post that I wont’ be posting any CC's until next year…but I made a card using the cute boy from Winter Wishes’ Winter Greetings set, along with his coordinating cutout.  This card as well with all my other cards is simple and the funny thing is, I didn’t realize the sequins I put were flowers…hahaha!  This card was created for my friend’s son who celebrated his 5th bday.  Hope he’s like any other guy who doesn’t pay attention to stuff like that…haha!  Anyhow, thanks for stopping by!  If you haven’t tried the CC’s, why not?  They’re a huge time saver!  LOL!  (^_~)  You can purchase this particular stamp here and the CC’s here.  Have an awesome week!

TGF Make a Cut Monday

E'llo!  Its Make a Cut Monday at The Greeting Farm!  Today we released Frou Frou's Birthday, Fabulous and Sweet coordinating cutouts.  I decided to use these stamps and cutouts for more bookmarks because they're huge stamps and since I have to do test cuts, I thought why not use them for bookmarks? LOL!  I bought more books while I was in the UK and I ran out of the bookmarks so these were the perfect size without having to mount them onto a traditional bookmark format.  I just colored them and use them as is.  Sometimes that's just enough!  I will be making cards and projects with them in the future, but since I literally just got back from the UK, I really didn't have much time.  Hope you like them and decide to buy the stamps and the coordinating cutouts for your next projects!  You can purchase the coordinating cuouts here, here and here

Have a great week!

It's Make a Cut Monday!

Hello!  It's another Make a Cut Monday!  Today The Greeting Farm released Winter Greeting and Winter Kindness coordinating cutouts!  Don't you think these bundled up kids are adorable?!?! I decided to create some bookmarks because I don't know about you but I tend to read more than one book at a time.  And yes, I still love reading out of an actual book!  If it's super late at night, I switch over to my iPad so I don't need the lamp on and disturb the hubby.  (^_^)  Anyhow, I pretty much kept all the bookmarks uniformed since I created four and time is valuable for me, I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about! (^_^)

Here are my bookmarks:

As always thanks for stopping by!  You can purchase the Winter Greetings and Winter Kindness stamps here and here.  And you can purchase their coordinating cutouts here and here.

TGF Release and a Blog Hop!

Hey there!  Today The Greeting Farm is releasing three new stamps, each were exclusive stamps that are now available to you!  Woohoo!  Party Props Anya was part of the Insta Fun kit, Puppy Love was from the Super Secret Stamp Club (SSSC) number 7 and the super cute Totes Anya was included in our Grab Bag limited time offer this summer.  Now you can get your crafty little hands on these super adorable stamps!  Yeay for you!  (^_^)

To celebrate today's release Rosie, Joni and I created some cards to inspire you using the stamps...here are my cards:

For this card, I wanted to created that photo booth feel and even though it's simple...I think it hit the mark.

I initially wanted to create a bookmark using the Puppy Love but thought I'd make this as a card for my dh since I always have such a hard time coming up with masculine cards...

For my Totes Anya card, I wanted to include a gift card since it looks like she's shopping!  So I decided to keep it simple.  I used the new die from Ellen Hutson where you could hide a gift card underneath it.  I thought that was pretty clever!  Too bad I had to open it up so you could see how it works and why I chose to make it really simple.  I will definitely be recreating this card for my niece's bday next month .

Thanks for stopping by, please visit Rosie, Joni and The Greeting Farm blog, and leave a comment on each blog, one lucky person will win all three of these super adorable stamps!  You have until 11 PM CST!  Good luck!

Make the Cut Monday at The Greeting Farm!

Today The Greeting Farm is releasing the Coordinating Cutouts to the ever so cute Spooky kit! I love this kit so much!  You can use some of the stamps throughout the year!  The cute little monsters and the "fairy" Anya could be used anytime!  I love when I could use my holiday stamps for more than just that one particular holiday...don't you?

Anyhow, I created 8 treat boxes using all 8 of the characters in the kit to give to the ladies at the Vet!  I absolutely love them and so glad we have such an awesome Vet!  Hope you can get some inspiration from my Halloween goodies...can't wait to see what you come up with using this kit!  You can purchase the cut files here.

Have an awesome week!

Oh Hello!

It's Monday and you know what that means!  The Greeting Farm Cut Team has some projects up on the TGF blog.  I decided to do two Daily Document pages since I'm so desperately trying to catch up on this year's album.  This time, I'm sorta working my way backwards.  I used a mix of the Berry Sweet and Summer Time kit.  I altered a few items like on the second page, I altered the gray card took off the "Live Laugh Love" and changed it to "Family".  Then I altered the pink card with the "Blessed" heart.  It was a cupcake with "so cute" on it and added the heart banners on the top with a white outline to make it pop more behind the pink background.  I would have done this digitally but I love the look of the added embellishments.  I try not to put too much bulk on my pages since last years album I had to use two albums because of the bulk.  I more simple with my LOs and cards as you can tell.  (^_^)

Before I forget, I'd ask for help with a Monday title for my blog post on The Greeting Farm site, and if anyone could help me come up with a title, the chosen title will win something cute.  I'd like there to be a Monday and Cut or Print and Cut in the title.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out my fellow DT's blog (Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan) to see what they created and to get more details on their projects.  The Cut Team will be taking a break and hope to be back soon!  See you soon!

New Coordinating Cutouts and a Giveaway!

Happy Monday!  I'm back with some Coordinating Cutouts (CC) for The Greeting Farm today!  Today we are releasing Twirl Anya and the super cute Xmas Sweeties (you can get the CC's here.)  I'm super excited about Xmas Sweeties since I'm already starting on all my Christmas projects.  If I don't do it now, there will be none come Christmas time.  I usually host Christmas here so I'm pretty busy from Thanksgiving on and looks like we'll be having some family from my dh's side moving  here and my parents will be visiting. So it'll be bigger than normal!  I'm already tired just thinking of it...haha!

OK, I made this box which will house some goodies for the some of the ladies at my dog's vet.  I've gotten pretty close to them since I'm there all the time! LOL!  I'll be making more using the Xmas Sweeties and all the other Holiday stamps from The Greeting Farm on each box.  I will of course try and share them here on my blog.  This box was created using the tutorial from my friend Joni which you can find here

I thought I'd add in cards I made previous (pre-coordinating cutouts):

OK, on to the Giveaway.  One lucky commenter will win the "sold out" Holiday Anya 4 which was released Sept 1!  All you have to do is show us your creation(s) using one or more of our Coordinating Cutouts! Please leave the comment on the TGF blog with your link to your project.  Winner will be announced Wednesday, Sept 18!

TGF Print and Cut inspiration!

Hey, hey, hey!  It's another Monday and you know what that means!  The Greeting Farm's Cut Team has created more projects for you today!  This time some of us used Berry Sweet, Hoppy Easter and Summer Time or all in our project.  For my Daily Documenting page, I pretty much used journal cards and filler cards from all three kits (a few of them I altered to fit my page.).  Along with a couple of embellishments from Berry Sweet and Summer Time kit.

And for my card, I created this cut file using Summer Anya and a Polaroid frame.  Just love my Silhouette Cameo and all the cool and neat stuff you can create with it!  I have to say, this is definitely one of the best investments I could have made and my husband actually agrees because I use it almost on a daily basis!  This card is super simple since the frame takes up most of the card and I really like my cards simple most of the time.

As always thank you for stopping by!  Please visit my fellow DT members:  Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan along with the TGF blog for more inspiration!  If you are interested in purchasing any of our Print and Cuts, please click here.

Aloha!

I'm back with more CC (Coordinating Cutouts) for TGF.  Today we released Hula Anya, Simply Anya and Teacher Anya

I've decided to include a card I made using Hula Anya back before I had my electronic cutting machine.  Man, I can't believe I would cut the images out by hand!  So happy that TGF now offers these, they totally make me craft faster.  I usually cut a whole sheet of the image (which are included) stamp all at once and color their hairs (that and cutting would take me the longest)...  So when I'm ready to make a card, I just color their outfit to match whatever designer paper I use.  Easy peasy! (^_^)  Enjoy and I hope these help you as they have helped me!  Aloha!

Good Day!

I am back to share some layouts I created using The Greeting Farm's Print and Cut kits.  My first LO is a Daily Documenting page, this is from 2013...I found a few pages that weren't fully filled...so I thought I'd use some of the Berry Sweet Journal Cards and Summer Time Journal Cards in this LO.  I recolored the plumeria card (Berry Sweet JC) to coordinate with the picture.  Also recolored the Happy Halloween card (Summer JC) to give it more of a Halloween feel.  And I used the blue card with Fuji (Summer JC) and typed "Where's Robin?" get it?  LOL!  Lame, I know!

On my next project, I created a LO using elements from the Summer Time kit, and I created a card using a Berry Sweet JC, recolored and added the Summer words from the Summer Time kit.

As always, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please visit Corinne, Cynthia, and SuiLan's blog for more inspiration!  Have a great week!

Hello There!

Hello!  Today TGF if releasing three of the last Big Anya's - Anya Blooms, Anya Celebrates and Anya Strolls.  I absolutely love these Anya's!  They are perfect for my nieces who are now teenagers!  Yikes!  Anyhow, I choose to make two cards (I fell short on time - really only made one but dug up a past card using the cutout).  Today I am sharing Anya Blooms and Anya Celebrates.  I made them super simple because these Anya's are big so I didn't want my A2 card to be cluttered.  I made one within 20 mins (which is rare) thanks to the Coordinating Cutouts!  They really help me speed up my card making process and I hope they do the same for you!  You can purchase the stamps here and the Coordinating Cuouts here.

Thanks for stopping by!

More Summertime Kit and Journal Card Inspiration

Happy Monday!  The TGF Cut Team is back with more inspiration using the Summertime kit and Journal Cards.  Corinne has posted on the TGF blog, so be sure if you haven't already been there, please visit the TGF blog.

I decided to do two layouts...1st LO I decided to do a Daily Life document page...

This is actually a summer spread from 2012...yes folks, I'm still playing catch up with 2012, however 2013 is pretty much done and 2014 is almost current. Woohoo!  I used all journal and filler cards from the Summer Journal Card kit and the rainbow embellishment on the left corner from the Summertime kit.  I know you can't read the journal (because I barely can...it's super small...haha!)  This spread is basically the time my bff and her family visited and we went to the Safari Zoo and boy was it hot.  We couldn't stay the whole day because my God daughter almost passed out.  So we went and got some shaved ice (which is very close to the ones I'm used to in HI and Japan) and decided to do some free adventrues around San Diego.  We finally found the Munchkin homes that I have been hearing about since I first moved here in the mid 90's.  It was a fun little adventure.

Here's my second project.  I decided to do another page for my album.  I have tons of beach or summer time pictures thanks to living in HI.  We would always go out during sunset to take pics and we wanted to share the experience with my husband's cousins while they visited us in HI.  I believe my brother took this picture.  Love it and so glad we have these memories!  I used a bunch of different elements from the Summertime kit along with some from our very first kit Berry Sweet Print and Cut kits.

Thanks for stopping by, please stop by my fellow DT's blog...Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan.  Kits are avail here.

Hello, hello!

It's another Monday and a Mini Release at the Farm!  Man, I can't believe it's already July!  I still can't believe how fast time flies!  Can you?  Yikes!

Well today the ever so talented Cut Team from The Greeting Farm has some gorgeous creations on the blog and on each of our own blogs.  Today we are releasing some new Journal Cards.  Which are perfect for your Daily Documenting, cards and layouts.  Even though they were based off of summer colors, I was able to use them in my March layouts.  As you know we basically have year round summers here in beautiful California!  Especially SoCal!  So these cards will be making several appearances on my Daily Documenting Album!  Oh before I forget, since these are essentially digital products, you can recolor and manipulate these cards to fit your needs!  Love digital for their never ending possibilities!

So before I bore you to death, let me post my creations!  First up is my card.  I made a super simple card since it's for a guy (you know they don't really care for your cards as much as the women do! LOL!).  I used the 6x4 Favorite Journal Card as my background,  the 3x4 Hello card as my second layer, Summertime Ian (included in the Summertime Kit), Banner  and Enjoy Life (also from the Summertime Kit).

Here is my Daily Documenting page.  Along with the Journal Cards I also used embellies from the Summertime Kit.  Blurred our the journal, I don't write well and in this particular page there were some personal information.  My page is simple, colorful and to the point.  That's how I like to document (^_^)

Make sure to visit the TGF blog and my fellow Cut Team's  (Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan) blogs for their creations!  Journal Cards are available here.

Mermaid and Nurse Anya are here...

Today The Greeting Farm is release the Coordinating Stamp Cutouts of a couple of our first stamps; Mermaid and Nurse Anya!  Just a bit of information regarding the files, we are no longer offering the Silhouette (.studio) files.  The files comes in .png and .svg.  Both of which you can be used in your electronic cutting machine.  I specifically use the Silhouette.  Hoping we could get a tutorial posted on The Greeting Farm blog soon!  Keep an eye out for it!

I made this card a while back (before owning a Silhouette), it's one of my favorite.  Thought I'd post it here since we are going back to the beginning of TGF (^_^)

Hoping these files help everyone speed the crafting process just a little bit faster than normal (^_^)

The Greeting Farm's Summertime Print and Cut Kit is here!

Woohoo!  I absolutely love this kit!  Perfect for our summer themed scrapbooks and cards!  Since I lived in Hawaii, I have tons of beach and summer pictures so this kit is perfect for me!  And I know it'll be a great addition for you!

Before I go any further, I'm always asked if you need an electronic cutting machine for any of our Print and Cut kits, and the answer is "no".  Basically you can just cut everything out using your scissors.  But if you have  a Silhouette or any other machine that reads .svg, .studio files you should be able to use it and it makes it easier and faster.  But I find sometimes on those rare occasion when I want to just sit in front of the tv and do something with my hands, I actually print and just cut by hand, it's pretty therapeutic.

Now on to my reveal...I created a card and a layout.  I used the "Enjoy Today" banner, Summertime Anya, scallop border and the "Today I feel Loved" on my card.  Papers are from Studio Calico Boardwalk.

For my layout, I used DCWV background paper from their Endless Summer Stack, the sun, "enjoy life", slippahs (as we say in HI), "today I feel cool", "today I feel Happy", and the .5cent embellies from the Summertime kit and a few enamel dots.

And before I give you the details to our Blog Hop,We have a Guest Designer - Kristina Werner joining us on our release.  I am jumping up and down like a little girl! LOL!  That lady has some mad talent!  Please visit her blog and/or Youtube channel as she does a process video on how she created her card using the Summetime kit. While you're there, check out her other creations, she's made a bunch of cards using some of our TGF stamps!  Her blog is filled with tons of awesome inspiration!

Now onto our Blog Hop...  check out all our blogs (Corinne, Cynthia, Suilan) where you will find more creations from the Print and Cut Design Team including Kristina. Comment on each blog and hop back to the TGF blog to let us know you’re done.  That is it!  One random winner will be selected, and win the Summertime kit!  Be sure to finish the hop by tomorrow night (June 17th) at 11:30 (PST).  The winner will be announced on June 18!  Good luck to all!

Ohayou!

We got Geisha Anya, Holiday Anya and Holiday Anya 3 Coordinating Stamp Cutouts at the store today!  When Geisha Anya first came out she was a digi and I was hoping and praying she would become a rubber stamp and woohoo!  Marie answered our prayers and created her in rubbah!  I of course bought her when she was a digi and had to use her ASAP, for those of you that hasn't followed my blog from day one, you wouldn't know but I was raised in Japan.  I am not Japanese but I grew up there and I do consider it my "home".  Being a Military child, we don't have a sense of home since we move every 3 -4 years.  However we were lucky enough my dad had several back to back tours in Japan.  We actually forced him to leave Japan once my brother started college.  Looking back, I wish we would have just left my bro in the states and stayed in Japan.  LOL!

Anyhow, not only am I glad to have created Geisha Anya in cutout form, but happy to have created the two remaining Holiday Anya's.  This helps my Christmas cards and tags go much faster.  And before you scratch you head saying I'm a bit early... it is because I am!  I have to otherwise they will not get done.  I usually create some of the nieces tags and cards now so I won't be too unprepared this year! So for those of you that are like me...well, here you go...  One less thing to worry about come Christmas time!  Enjoy!  You can get them here!

A Few Things...

...I'm sick today (started last night), I have a sore throat and it's due to my allergies.  Phlegm that has been lodged in my throat causing it...I'm assuming.  I feel miserable.  For some reason, I have yet to crawl onto my couch behind me and catch up on Homeland since we have free Showtime this weekend.  I want to get a few things done before I do that cuz once I'm on that sofa, there's no way of getting me out of it!  I am working on some The Greeting Farm work and I need to get them done for the store.  I just love working for Marie!  I hope we can expand and find more new avenues with the company.  Did I tell you how sick I feel? Ugh!

Anyhow, for some odd reason, I wanted to jot those all down.  Maybe it's for me to go back on and document in my Project Life.  Or it could be the affects of Nyquil.  Oooh...I'm suppose to go with the hubby to Bed Bath and Beyond to look for curtain rods and curtains for my studio... I would love to stay home all day in pj's but if I don't jump on this offer, he'll never do it! UGH!

I will leave you with few pics...

I made Pistachio Macarons...so yummy! Please ignore my ghetto polish! LOL!  Oh that reminds me, I need to do my nails! LOL!

Yesterday when my throat started to hurt, I laid in bed and she kept me company.  Don't mind the mess in the background, that's dh's clothes, he seems to think that's where you put your clothes even though I've repeatedly removed them from that spot...but as you can see...he doesn't get it. *sigh*

And while we were lounging, this naughty boy decided to strip me of my blanket.  I swear it's like I have a toddler...who will never grow up...

This morning even if I was feeling sick, I baked some ham and cheese croissant and Kouignette's from William Sonoma...can you say "YUM"? I'm dreaming of going back to London and Paris.  I'm hoping we can go early fall.  I want to take advantage of my Buckingham Palace tix that's good for this year.  These pastries reminds me of Europe.  That reminds me, I need to brush up on my French.  I had to take French in middle school I remember a few here and there.  I can pick up on some when I was in France but not enough to get me by.  Ah...I miss the streets of both London and France.  Sorry, my minds all scattered and I'm going from one subject to another...  I really do blame it on Mr. Nyquil (^_~)

That's all I have for now.  Don't forget to check back on Monday, I'll have some new TGF Coordinating Stamp Cut files up!

I owe several of my IG friends some recipe, promise to have it sent to you guys soon, I promise!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!

The Greeting Farm has some Oldies but Goodies going on...

Today I'm bringing back some oldies but goodies.  I have to say these three Anya cut outs are a few of my favorites.  When I first found The Greeting Farm (previously Pink Poison) stamps, I fell in love with Angel Anya and she was one of the first stamps that I bought and I was hooked!  But I have to say Fleur Anya is definitely my favorite stamp from The Greeting Farm.  So I'm so happy that I chose Angel Anya, Fleur Anya and Flirty Anya  I hope you guys are just as happy as I am to see them in Cut Out form.

One last hurrah for The Greeting Farm's Hoppy Easter Kit and some Coordinating Cut Files

Hey everyone!  It's the day after Easter and the Print and Cut team has one last inspirational blog post for you!  Just in case you guys needed one last look at the kit so scrap all your wonderful Easter pictures!  I have to say the team did a phenomenal job!  Here's my projects for this week.

For project was to create a 3D project.  I decided to create the Free Standing Pop Up Card.  I created the template on my silhouette.  Super easy!  This card folds and fits in an A2 envelope.  I pretty much used all the elements from the Hoppy Easter kit.The "some bunny loves you" is from Mama Elephant.

My second project was a LO, I decided to do an Easter LO because I wanted you guys to see it used as an Easter LO one last time.  I know you must have taken tons of Easter pics, so why not do my last LO as an Easter LO.  I used the journal cards, again, I erased the "my bunny" and stamped the "I'm all ears!" which is from Mama Elephant.  Resized the pink bunny and added some doilies and enamel dots.

Hope you can get some ideas from my projects.   Please check out The Greeting Farm's blog and my fellow DT's blog:  Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan to see their awesome projects!

And before I go, we got more Coordinating Cut Files available at The Greeting Farm's store.  They're only $1, so worth it! Saves you tons of time and easy to use!
