Checkin' in

Aloha!  Just checkin' from Anaheim.  I'm here with my bff Joy.  We're having a blast.  Previewing all the latest and greatest craft items!  Too bad we can't buy them for ourselves and take them all home with us!  CHA is basically for retailers so even if my bff places an order we don't take anything home :(  Shucks!  LOL!  We're also eating so many onolicious food!  Places we don't have in Hawaii.  Sigh, I hate to admit it but I so miss living here.  We've spent time with a bunch of friends and family.  All of whom came all the way from all over to see us!!!  I wanna give a shout out to all:  My sister Leah and Clarissa, my favorite in-law's the Aspacio's (Dexter, Emma, Debbie and Christina), my girl Mindy Terasawa and her SIL Nancy Kubo (who's the sweetest person ever!), Patrick (Joy's dh's friend) and his sister Elaine.  Joy and I had soooo much fun hanging with each and everyone of you!!!  Mahalo Nui Loa!!

RAKs from this weekend get together

Aloha!  Sorry I'm still a bit MIA from blogland.  Busy, busy, busy!  After my last of my visitors left two Sundays ago, I've had non-stop appointments and this past weekend I was out the whole 3 days!! I was lucky enough to have been invited to my girl Linda's get together and boy did we have fun!  I love these girls so they're so honest and hella funny!  LOL!  Meow, A-chooooooo, Saddle, flatten da tummy, stripper, MFH, and a bunch of pigeon that I didn't understand. Anyhow, I'm posting the RAKs we got, I LOVE every single one of them AND I love, love, love the make n takes which I forgot to take pics of...oh well, I'll do that after I get back from CHA.  OK, I gotta hurry and finish this post I need to go to bed so I can wake up early, finish laundry and then pack! UGH!!!  I need to pack...hate packing!

RAK from Janis (I have yet to open to see what goodies are inside!  I so don't wanna untie the ribbon! LOL)

From Joy U. I just love this! I love the image she used and love that she was thoughtful enough to give us measurements and instructions!  Thanks girl!!

From my BFF Joy...what a cute notebook and wow look at the goodies too!

From Kyoko...yummy candies and just love the box and oh yeah, you can't see it but there's a pack of gum behind the box!

From our hostess with the mostess...cute little calendar holder.  Once the year is done we can remove the calendar and replace with a post-it notepad on it!  Love it!!

From Michelle...oh my this is soooo pretty.  I'm not sure you can see but there's glitter outlining the flowers and it looks oh so elegant!!!  I'm definitely gonna lift this idea!

This is also from Michelle and I think it was such a great idea on how she housed the chocolate!  I wouldn't have thought of making a holder like this!  LOVIN' IT!

OK, I'm off to bed, thanks for stopping by and I'll see you in a week where I should have a winner for the digi question (from a month or so ago) AND some blog candy.  So check back next week to see if you won and how to win the new blog candy!  Aloha!

Luggage Tag

I've been wanting to make some luggage tags for a while and well, since I'm leaving for LA next week I thought I'd get a move on it.  Simple tag cause I'm soooo tired and really don't have time to be creative couldn't even color it nice (*o*).  Altered Travel Anya with Ruby's head cause I thought Travel Anya looked a bit old...lol!  Nothing too exciting about this, wish I had more time to make it nicer...but it'll do for now.  Maybe when I get back I'll have my creative mojo back...  As always thanks for stopping by!  Aloha!

Receipt Folder

Happy Monday!!!  Yeay, I was able to craft a little this weekend!  It felt so good to do something creative!  I haven't had much time to craft since coming back from Japan.  AND I had very little computer time but it felt good not to always be on the computer and in my craft room.  Sometimes you need a little break.

I got this idea once again from the talented Miss Joni.  She made us these cute accordion files as RAKs at one of our get together's.  I love it so much and thought what a great idea!  I can make a receipt folder.  I pretty much kept it simple since it'll be something that will be handled every week.   I obviously altered it to fit my needs but for the most part everything was taken from Joni's original design.  Thanks again girl for always inspiring!!

I sure hope my writing make sense. I am exteremly tired but wanted to post something on the blog since it's been neglected.  Today we dropped off our last visitor and I've been on the go ever since I got back from Japan.  Of course once we got home, we spent the rest of the day cleaning and taking down all the Christmas decorations....yes folks, you read that correctly....we don't take our Christmas decor down until the seventh.  Granted today was the tenth, but well, when you got visitors you just can't do it.  As always thanks for stopping by!  Aloha!

MIA

Aloha!  Just dropping in to let you all know I will resume blogging (hopefully) next Monday.  I still have family here and mom and dad have been staying in my room/office so computer time is very limited as well with crafting :(  But I wouldn't have it any other way.  It'll be so quiet when everyone leaves (*o*)  I was hoping that my brother would stay until Feb, but my dad has some appointments that he cannot cancel so the bro has to go back to help.  Any who, things should be back to normal Monday.  Hope everyone's New Years started off with a great start!!  As always thanks for always stopping by!  Aloha!

Hau'oli Makahiki Hou

I can't believe it's 2010! Wow! I hope this year doesn't fly by since this will be my last year here in Hawaii (*o*) I've met such great friends here. I really don't wanna leave them...but I know their friendship will always be there! To all my friends both near and far, I wish you the best for the year 2o1o! Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!
