New Year new Project Life Album

Hello there!  I'm here in my craft room and decided to take a break (more like procrastinate).  I am contemplating on how I will approach this year's Project Life.  2012 (which has yet to be completed and yes, I still want to complete it especially since that was Fuji's first year) was in a 12x12 format.  2013 was in a Snap Album 6x8 format and I've pretty much completed it with a few exceptions of embellies and a few journaling but for the most part, it's pretty much done.  2014, well, I've stopped once we had the flood and then couldn't completely get back into it since we left for Europe.  So I definitely want to complete last years which was in a 12x12 format!  Last year, I decided not to do a Dec Daily, I love it but to be honest, we have no kids and there really isn't a bunch of traditions I do for it to be worth it.  Altho, I'm thinking of holding an Ugly Sweater party and maybe start my Cookie Exchange again...but we'll have to see.  Dec is always so busy for me and everyone else!  Anyhow, I digress...  I've noticed when it's in a smaller format, it's so much easier for me to complete, however I love adding so much more (that could be my problem!) and more journaling...  Plus, I had to use two 6x8 binders for 2013 and I really want to stick to just one album.  Studio Calico is coming out with a 9x12 which I'm really interested in however, they haven't come out with it yet, AND I have all the inserts for the 12x12 and 6x8...what shall I do? Ugh!

I guess I should go back to cleaning and organizing this room and figure it out while I look through all my junk...LOL!  Anyone out there have any suggestions/tips/recommendations?  I would love to hear from you and see your Project Life.

Here are some of my Project Life spread throughout the years if you need any ideas or just want to see (yes, I've posted these before but wanted to have it on one post  so you can look at now.)

Oh Hello!

It's Monday and you know what that means!  The Greeting Farm Cut Team has some projects up on the TGF blog.  I decided to do two Daily Document pages since I'm so desperately trying to catch up on this year's album.  This time, I'm sorta working my way backwards.  I used a mix of the Berry Sweet and Summer Time kit.  I altered a few items like on the second page, I altered the gray card took off the "Live Laugh Love" and changed it to "Family".  Then I altered the pink card with the "Blessed" heart.  It was a cupcake with "so cute" on it and added the heart banners on the top with a white outline to make it pop more behind the pink background.  I would have done this digitally but I love the look of the added embellishments.  I try not to put too much bulk on my pages since last years album I had to use two albums because of the bulk.  I more simple with my LOs and cards as you can tell.  (^_^)

Before I forget, I'd ask for help with a Monday title for my blog post on The Greeting Farm site, and if anyone could help me come up with a title, the chosen title will win something cute.  I'd like there to be a Monday and Cut or Print and Cut in the title.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out my fellow DT's blog (Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan) to see what they created and to get more details on their projects.  The Cut Team will be taking a break and hope to be back soon!  See you soon!

Good Day!

I am back to share some layouts I created using The Greeting Farm's Print and Cut kits.  My first LO is a Daily Documenting page, this is from 2013...I found a few pages that weren't fully filled...so I thought I'd use some of the Berry Sweet Journal Cards and Summer Time Journal Cards in this LO.  I recolored the plumeria card (Berry Sweet JC) to coordinate with the picture.  Also recolored the Happy Halloween card (Summer JC) to give it more of a Halloween feel.  And I used the blue card with Fuji (Summer JC) and typed "Where's Robin?" get it?  LOL!  Lame, I know!

On my next project, I created a LO using elements from the Summer Time kit, and I created a card using a Berry Sweet JC, recolored and added the Summer words from the Summer Time kit.

As always, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please visit Corinne, Cynthia, and SuiLan's blog for more inspiration!  Have a great week!

More Summertime Kit and Journal Card Inspiration

Happy Monday!  The TGF Cut Team is back with more inspiration using the Summertime kit and Journal Cards.  Corinne has posted on the TGF blog, so be sure if you haven't already been there, please visit the TGF blog.

I decided to do two layouts...1st LO I decided to do a Daily Life document page...

This is actually a summer spread from 2012...yes folks, I'm still playing catch up with 2012, however 2013 is pretty much done and 2014 is almost current. Woohoo!  I used all journal and filler cards from the Summer Journal Card kit and the rainbow embellishment on the left corner from the Summertime kit.  I know you can't read the journal (because I barely can...it's super small...haha!)  This spread is basically the time my bff and her family visited and we went to the Safari Zoo and boy was it hot.  We couldn't stay the whole day because my God daughter almost passed out.  So we went and got some shaved ice (which is very close to the ones I'm used to in HI and Japan) and decided to do some free adventrues around San Diego.  We finally found the Munchkin homes that I have been hearing about since I first moved here in the mid 90's.  It was a fun little adventure.

Here's my second project.  I decided to do another page for my album.  I have tons of beach or summer time pictures thanks to living in HI.  We would always go out during sunset to take pics and we wanted to share the experience with my husband's cousins while they visited us in HI.  I believe my brother took this picture.  Love it and so glad we have these memories!  I used a bunch of different elements from the Summertime kit along with some from our very first kit Berry Sweet Print and Cut kits.

Thanks for stopping by, please stop by my fellow DT's blog...Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan.  Kits are avail here.

Hello, hello!

It's another Monday and a Mini Release at the Farm!  Man, I can't believe it's already July!  I still can't believe how fast time flies!  Can you?  Yikes!

Well today the ever so talented Cut Team from The Greeting Farm has some gorgeous creations on the blog and on each of our own blogs.  Today we are releasing some new Journal Cards.  Which are perfect for your Daily Documenting, cards and layouts.  Even though they were based off of summer colors, I was able to use them in my March layouts.  As you know we basically have year round summers here in beautiful California!  Especially SoCal!  So these cards will be making several appearances on my Daily Documenting Album!  Oh before I forget, since these are essentially digital products, you can recolor and manipulate these cards to fit your needs!  Love digital for their never ending possibilities!

So before I bore you to death, let me post my creations!  First up is my card.  I made a super simple card since it's for a guy (you know they don't really care for your cards as much as the women do! LOL!).  I used the 6x4 Favorite Journal Card as my background,  the 3x4 Hello card as my second layer, Summertime Ian (included in the Summertime Kit), Banner  and Enjoy Life (also from the Summertime Kit).

Here is my Daily Documenting page.  Along with the Journal Cards I also used embellies from the Summertime Kit.  Blurred our the journal, I don't write well and in this particular page there were some personal information.  My page is simple, colorful and to the point.  That's how I like to document (^_^)

Make sure to visit the TGF blog and my fellow Cut Team's  (Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan) blogs for their creations!  Journal Cards are available here.

DT Call...

Hi guys! How was your Thanksgiving?  Mine was great, we went home to my parents for a week and had a good time playing tourist.  Now I'm slowly getting back, trying to catch up and get ready for Christmas.  Can't believe it's 3 weeks away!  Yikes! LOL!

Anyhow, I am looking for 2 talented people to join the TGF family as Guest DT.  This is for our Berry Sweet Daily Life Kit.  If you are interested, please send me an email showcasing some of your daily life (Project Life type) layouts. Previews for this add-on kit will be in Jan.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Back to blogging, sort of...

Its been five months since I last blogged! Wowzer! To be honest, with Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, I really don't have time to blog. Blogging takes a lot from you, you have to compose a post, resize pictures, add my siggie and upload it all.  Not only is it a pain to do all this, I rarely upload my pics from my phone onto my computer. Until of course I'm outta space.  With that said if you haven't guessed it, my phone had no more room for pics I was over 4000+ pics, so I had to finally upload them to my computer and save it onto my EHD. Not a fun process!  Anyhow, this post will be picture heavy with a few of the things I've created.  So sit back and enjoy the show (^_^)

*Edited* Amazeballs!

LOL! I just love that word! Anyhow, a few weeks ago I posted a pic on Instagram of my goodies that I got from Typo.  Well there was a lot of comments and emails regarding it and I even had one follower repost my pics for her friend to see and she too got a lot of comments regarding my finds.  So I thought, since it's the holidays, why not pay it forward.  So off I went to Typo today got a couple of stamps to give away.

OK, here's the deal...instead of just giving them away, I want something from you!
1.  Leave a comment (when you leave a comment don't be alarmed it didn't go through, it did but I have to approve due to spammers.)
2.  Send me an email with your favorite cookie or dessert recipe.
3.  Refer a friend (leave another comment saying you have)
I'll draw three winners.  You not only get one of the 3 stamps but some extra goodies.  You have until next Tuesday (Nov 27, 2012) to enter.  Sorry only valid to US residents.  Check back to see the rest of the goodies you'll be getting along w/these stamps.

Here are the three stamps I got today, perfect for Project Life!

Weekend Recap

Yes folks I am back! Shocked I'm blogging again? Me too! LOL!  Thought I'd share my weekend happenings in picture:

Wanted to play with my Silhouette so I thought I'd try and cut out this cutie.
Continued catching up on Project Life and yes folks, I'm only on Week 8.
Needed to give my little brain a change of scenery so I decided to go back to the Silhouette and play some more.
Decided not to use the Princess carriage and just make the card super simple.

Wanted to prep these cuties and have them all ready for my next project.
Spent Monday driving my in-laws around.
While we waited for the in-laws someone must have been hot and decided to sit on her water bowl that was FULL of water. Looks like it did the trick because she was super happy after she pulled that stunt!  What a lucky little girl to be able to pull something like that off w/o it being an issue.  What a dog's life!

It's Thursday!

My goodness the weeks are going by so fast! I'm sure most of you that work say it's not going fast enough.  But for me, staying at home you'd think I would be bored to death.  But to be honest, I have tons of stuff to do and when I look up at the clock and see how it's almost dinner time I'm always wondering where the time has gone.  But this week, I actually can't wait for the weekend to come (will explain later). We got some stuff happening over there weekend and I can't wait.

Anyhow...  Today I am sharing a small look into my Project Life.  Are you doing Project Life? I know most of my visitors are card makers, but if you are a card maker or a scrapper and you are participating in Project Life, please share a link in the comment section, I would love to see.  Mine is so far behind, I'm even going back to my first few weeks and adding a few things here and there, which isn't helping me get caught up...LOL! I hope to be caught up soon, but I'm really far behind!  I guess key to keeping up is to make everything as simple as possible especially since that's the whole purpose.  OK, here's mine:

OK, before I end this post my dear friend ManLe is pre-selling the new Sister Stamps at her online store here.  You can also purchase all the other stamps there too!  Check it out and order now with the Pre-order special!

Don't forget I still have some stamps for sale, you can check it out by clicking on the "Items for sale as of 051712"  Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!  Aloha!
