Good Day!

I am back to share some layouts I created using The Greeting Farm's Print and Cut kits.  My first LO is a Daily Documenting page, this is from 2013...I found a few pages that weren't fully filled...so I thought I'd use some of the Berry Sweet Journal Cards and Summer Time Journal Cards in this LO.  I recolored the plumeria card (Berry Sweet JC) to coordinate with the picture.  Also recolored the Happy Halloween card (Summer JC) to give it more of a Halloween feel.  And I used the blue card with Fuji (Summer JC) and typed "Where's Robin?" get it?  LOL!  Lame, I know!

On my next project, I created a LO using elements from the Summer Time kit, and I created a card using a Berry Sweet JC, recolored and added the Summer words from the Summer Time kit.

As always, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please visit Corinne, Cynthia, and SuiLan's blog for more inspiration!  Have a great week!

More Inspirations Using TGF's Berry Sweet Print and Cut and Berry Sweet Daily Life Kits

Hello Everyone!  Hoping everyone had an awesome Valentine's day/weekend!  Here at my house, we had a nice and quiet dinner with a Netflix move and on Saturday we celebrated my FIL's 84th birthday!

Speaking of Valentine's day, we at the Farm created a few inspiration for you.  This time we had no theme but to just create whatever our little hearts desired (^_^)  I made some 3x4 cards of each of the dogs for dh and a card with the both of them to give to the nieces since we'd be seeing them for my FIL's bday.  Check them out:

I of course created them digitally because well, I did these last minute as usual I was late! LOL!  I then printed them out and created matching envelopes.

For my next project I created a traditional layout

I used both the Berry Sweet Print and Cut and the Berry Sweet Life Daily Life kits.   I used the banner, butterfly, cutie patootie, forever and you're cute from the BSPC.  All the journal cards from BSDL kit.  I also used the TGF's Snowflake Die which I absolutely love!

Ok, it's your turn!  TGF wants to see what you created using one or both of the kits!  One lucky person will be selected at random to receive their choice of an in-stock Single Rubber Stamp or a 4x6 set!  So please show us!

And before I end this blog post, please check out my fellow Guest DT's  Corinne and Jerodelle's work from even more inspiration!

Bling it Up on the TGF File Cut Monday

It's another Monday and I'm here to showcase my projects for TGF's Berry Sweet Cut and Print, and Berry Sweet Daily Life kits.  Today's theme was picked by Jerodelle, she chose Bling it UP!  I have to say I'm not into too many elements on my cards or layouts so this was definitely a challenge.  My first project is a scrapbook layout of Roxy.  I decided to do a digital layout to show how versatile this kit can be.  We must not forget about our digi scrappers!  If you didn't know, I am first and foremost a digital scrapper.  I love how you can manipulate everything in Photoshop but I also love the traditional way of scrapping and lately I've been scrapping that way oppose to digital scrapping.  I do miss digital scrapping so that's why I decided to do this layout to show the versatility of this kit.  As you can see, I used two of the 3x4 filler cards from the BS Daily Life kit, Kiss Kiss, Love You and Cutie Patootie tidbits from the BS Print and Cut kit.  I also added some sequins, glittered hearts, glitter and doily to the layout.  If you hadn't notice, my style is pretty clean and simple (95% of the time).  I then printed this out to 8x8 and I will mat it onto a 12x12 as soon as I figure out which paper to use.  But really my LOs usually look like this...

My second project is a card using the Double Cupcake Anya which I believe was Limited Edition stamp.  I bling'd it up with some diamond bling on the butterfly, Anya's hair clip, on top of both cupcakes and three diamonds on the bottom right hand corner of the card.  As much as I wanted to totally bling up my card and LO, that's all my mind would allow me to do...lol!  I truly believe "Less is More".  What about you?

Are you guys enjoying these kits?  Do you have any questions regarding the kit?  Please share with us your creations using this kit!  We would love to see them!  Who knows, you may win a prize!  As always thanks for stopping by!  Please check out the TGF blog and my fellow DT's blog for inspiration!

Our Last Challenge...

its bittersweet but we knew it was coming.  This is our last challenge for TGF.  I had tons of working with TGF and the DT gals!  So many inspiration came out of this AND I got to complete a whole album!  Woohoo!

Onto my LO...  I created the background paper using the stars from the In the Spotlight kit, repeated the stars as the accent.  I also used the stitch border from the Sunshine kit. There are so many things you can do with these kits!  Here's my take on my girl Jaci's sketch:

Jaci's sketch...

Now check out my fellow DT's LO's one last time!  Mahalo Nui Loa for taking the time to visit my little ole blog! Aloha!

Up for a Challenge?

If you are, come join in on the fun at the Farm!  Today's challenge is to create a LO with a summer vacation theme.

I did my LO on last year's summer vacation visiting Harajuku, Japan.  If you've never been, I highly recommend it.  It's a very unique place with lots and lots of shops!  Unfortunately not too many Harajuku girls frequent it anymore...but if you're lucky enough you'll see a handful of them in full costume.  Here's my LO for this week's challenge:

For more inspiration check out the DT's LOs:

You wanna play along?  Upload your layout to TGF Galleria>SB Kits>Contests/Challenges>Summer Fun!  Be sure to use ONLY TGF Stamps and have FUN!

One random winner will receive the Darling Sisters stamp set!  Good luck and can't wait to see what you create!

It's Challenge time at the Farm!

Today's TGF Sketch LO was provided by me.  I  I literally had no time to do my LO.  I thought it was just too plain (really simple is my style but this was just flat out plain) Without going into details, lets just say when it rains it pours and it did so this week.  Nothing serious just a lot of stuff happening and I totally forgot about my dental appointment...so with that said, my LO suffered. I added the palm tree to spruce it up a bit.  Seriously, when I say I like my LOs simple, I meant it as you can see. LOL!

Any how, here's my take on the sketch:

Here's the sketch:

You wanna play along?  Simply  upload your creation to the TGF Galleria>SB Kits>Contests/Challenges>Sketch by Claudette

You have until TUESDAY, JULY 20th to upload your creation using TGF Stamps!  A winner will be chosen and announced here next Thursday!  Prize is a 4x6 in-stock set of Choice!!!

TGF - Time-less LO Challenge

Aloha!  It's Thursday and that could only mean it's TGF Challenge time!  Challenge theme is to use Time, clock. watch anywhere in your LO.  This was  a hard one for me but I pushed through and finished my LO barely in time (no pun intended).  Literally I was running out the door as soon as I scanned and sent my LO off to Jessica!  Whew, it was definitely a close one today!

So you wanna play along?  Simply Upload a layout using TGF Stamps that uses a TIME theme-aka clocks, watches, and other elements of time into your layout!   It doesn't HAVE to be SUMMER time, either, but we all used our new Sunshine kit so SUMMERTIME it was!   Just use TGF Stamps and incorporate TIME.

*One lucky winner will receive Oliver/Amelia "JOURNEY", the newly released 4x6 set!

*You have until Tuesday, July 13th to upload to the (now working) Gallery!!!

Here's my take on the challenge:

Aloha it's anthoer TGF Challenge!

This week sketch challenge is by Lynda!

Here's my take (I turned it around)

This LO is about our time at Tokyo Disney Sea!  We had just gotten off their water ride, which was so needed cause the humidity in Japan was horrendous!  If I could I would have stayed on that ride the entire day!  We were soaking wet, you could see it on Cyn and Steph's shirt but not on mine since I was wearing black.  We definitely had so much fun that day even if we were all miserable in the humidity!

Of course I used the Sunshine kit for this LO along with Mindy Terasawa's Sun Shiney Day kit.  I stamped the flowers on the bottom, used the stitch stamp along the borders of my LO and I also used the Smiley flowers as embellishments.

Now it's your turn...take the challenge, create a LO based on Lynda's sketch, who knows you could be the lucky winner!!!  Simply upload your LO to  TGF Galleria>Scrapbooking Kits>Contests/Challenges> 7-11 Sketch (I'm not quite sure if that's the exact folder, but you'll see it when you navigate around the gallery...As of right now Jess has not created a folder...will post a new link if it isn't what I posted.

TGF Challenge - Jacilynn's Sketch

Happy Thursday!  It's TGF Challenge time!  Sorry for posting this late.  I went to the dentist yesterday and after I got home I wasn't feelin' up to it.  They redid my old fillings and my body's metabolisim was on overdrive and they needed to numb me SEVERAL times.  I don't mind the shots, I just kept feelin' the drilling...yikes!  Needless to say I wasn't feelin' all to well afterwards and was in bed the whole night!

Anyhow, it's another challenge at the Farm so please join us!  Our sketch was from the talented Jacilynn, she's is rolling w/the sketches don't you think?  Upload your layout using TGF Stamps to TGF Galleria>Scrapbooking Kits>Contests/Challenges> 6-24 Sketch.  ONE lucky winner will receive the new MY FAVORITE THING set featuring Oliver and Amelia!

Here's mine:

Sorry about the horrible pic, the lighting in my office was horrible!!  Plus I printed out a scanned photo and it was awful!

Need more inspiration?  Check out what the gals did with the sketch!

Good luck and see you back here next Thrusday!  Happy scrapping and Aloha from Hawaii!

TGF Summer LO Challenge!

Hey folks!  It's Challenge time at the Farm!  Our challenge was to create a summer theme LO.  I just love summer and living in Hawaii, we have that year round.

I created this LO of my dad and my sister at the famous Waikiki beach.  They were visiting during Christmas (see...I wasn't joking about our summers being year round...LOL).  Going to the beach with my dad was a milestone because he had suffered a stroke and heart attach eight months prior.  It's a slow and long recovery but he's making it and I thank GOD everyday for this miracle!!!

Please join us and create a LO with a summer theme!  Easy-peasy!  I'm sure since most of you have kids on summer vacation already and if you're a scrapper you've already busted out the camera!  LOL!  Join us and upload your LO at:TGF Galleria>Scrapbooking Kits>Contest/Challenges>Beach Theme no later than Tuesday, June 22nd.  Winner will be announced on Thursday the 24th with our next SB contest and ONE LUCKY WINNER will receive a 4x6 set of their CHOICE!
Can't wait to see everyone's creations!  Don't forget to check out the other DT's inspirational work:

Aloha!

Aloha!  Today is FFF (Farm Fresh Friday) at the Farm today!!  We're to make a LO using another wonderful sketch from Mercy!  Please feel free to join us on this challenge!!!

Here's my take on the sketch

Doesn't this LO scream SUMMER VACATION?  LOL!  I took this photo when we were visiting the island of Maui.  Love that there weren't anyone in this photo.  Usually the beaches are crowded.  Of course I used the new TGF SB kit Sunshine!  See how versatile this kit is?  I mean yesterday's LO was of Japan, today its of Hawaii!
Simply upload your LO or card to the following gallery category:
TGF Galleria>Contests/Challenges>FFF>Mercy Sketch 6-11

Here's the sketch to follow or grap some inspiration from:

Hope to see your LOs at the gallery!!  Good luck and please stop by my fellow DT's blog and check out what they've created!

TGF's New Scrapbook kit - SUNSHINE!

Hey everybody!

We are SO stinkin' excited over at The Greeting Farm...and ready to spread the SUNSHINE!  Why?  Because SUNSHINE is the name of the newest 8 1/2x11 JUMBO KIT of rubber stamps being previewed today on the TGF Blog!

Just in time for summer, SUNSHINE is full of larger sized stamps, perfect for scrapbooking, cardmaking, or any papercrafting!  And ONE LUCKY WINNER just might take one home after hoppin' around the Scrapbooking DT's blogs today!

In addition?  The TGF Scrapbooking Team is THRILLED to welcome LYNDA NIELSEN to our gang!  You may recognize Lynda as one of our Gardeners and now she is back and ready to get scrappin'!   Welcome!

For our Challenge today, (did you KNOW that TGF is doing weekly scrapbooking challenges on the TGF Blog?) I used this great sketch by SB team member Jaci:

My layout today is (what else...JAPAN!) I'm tryin' to finish at least one album this year!  LOL!  And since I have tons of photo's of my trips back home, I thought since they're all still fresh in my memory to finally complete a whole album!  Of course that doesn't mean that all my LOs will be of Japan after all this is a summer kit, but just because it's a summer kit doesn't mean you have to use it for just the summer LOs!!  That's what is so great about these kits!  They're so versatile!  Anyhow, This is my title page of my album.

I'm so excited to show you more week after week and hope you'll play along with our challenges too!  They are every Thursday for scrapbooking and each week we offer up a GREAT prize!

Sketch by Jaci:

Be sure to check out the rest of the Scrapbooking Team today:

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to spread the SUNSHINE wherever you go :)

TGF Challenge - Color Challenge

Aloha!  We have another TGF Challenge going on! Here's my LO...yes, some of the pics are a bit blurry but hey, sometimes those are the photos you get.  Anyhow this is of my precious Avery on Christmas 2006.  I believe this was his last Christmas where he was himself (Christmas 07 was his last and he wasn't well).  Anyhow, this is about him opening his present...I think I'll make something like this for this year's card...we'll see.  I'll have to change it up a bit but I think it'll be similar to this style.  I used the TGF In the Spotlight butterfly for background, used the arrow stamp for the tree and of course I had to use Christmas Ian!

These were the colors we had to use.  Upload your Layout or 3D item to TGF GALLERIA>Scrapbooking Kit>Contests/Challenges>Better in Color

Don't forget to check out my fellow DT's blog for more inspiration!

TGF Challenge - Mother's Day LO

OK, so today's post was suppose to be my TGF Challenge which was to create a LO for Mother's Day.  I misread the email and did next week's Challenge instead! I worked on it all night last night and was so proud I had it submitted earlier than I normally submit my LOs.  Needless to say, I have no LO (*o*)  So I am posting my Mother's Day card for my mom, I also made one for my MIL but made it in a different color.  I of course lifted this from Splitcoaststampers and need to go back and give credit to the original creator!  I will still be doing a Mother's Day LO but that'll be posted tomorrow (hopefully).

So even though I wasn't able to post my LO today please still participate in the Challenge in honor or Mother's all around the world and for your own mom!

Upload your layout  to Tgf Galleria>Scrapbooking>Contests/Challenges>All about Mom
You have until Tuesday, May 12th to enter to WIN a TGF Single of Choice (in stock).!  WINNER will be announced here on the blog next Thursday during the next SB Challenge!
