Happy Monday!

Aloha! I'm back and well, I think I may be coming down with something :( Hopefully it's just my body being tired. We'll see! I got back last Thursday, rushed to drop off dh so he can go to work, went to the other side of the island to pick up the little furbaby and then all the way back to my neck of the woods. Walked into the house, luggages everywhere. We had a total of 5 check ins and 4 carry ons! Yes folks, I had to buy another suitcase! To be honest, I didn't think I shopped that much, but when you have a whole week to do nothing but shop while dh is working and you buy a little something every day it adds up! LOL! Any who, when I got home, I unloaded the suitcase w/the clothes so I could start on laundry got a quarter of it emptied and decided I could not stay awake any longer and went to bed. Didn't get up until dh called to check on us and to tell me he was coming home early cause he was sick. Got up to make dinner and then went to bed after. Friday, dh called in sick, we woke up about noon (I think) pretty much stayed in bed...him being sick, me being jetlagged. Friday night he was up doing some stuff in the living room, I was still unpacking and we both didn't go to bed until 2 or 3 cause of the time difference. Needless to say we did not wake up until 1 PM! Yup, that's right 1 PM! Of course I was in a mad rush to clean, do laundry and fix the upstairs bedroom since the first wave of family was arriving Sunday! Second wave is coming Tuesday and the third wave is who knows when since they are taking Military Space A. Anyhow, I have not been able to create so what I'm posting is what I created before I left for Japan. Jacilynn was looking for a prego bella and I happen to have Teddy Bella (I think that's what it's called) and I wanted to house them in something cute so I made those envelope holders. This idea was lifted from Lianne and I just love making them! Thanks so much Lianne for the idea! I won't be posting much but hopefully I'll have time to post what I create for the holidays! As always thanks for stopping by! Aloha!

Today I am using the new kit by TGF called Sunny Glen. I think this kit was perfect for those fall LO's! Of course you can use this for anything but the papers reminded me of fall.

Once again my LO is of my precious Avery. I'm trying to make a book of him for me. All the other books I created were for my dh. I wanted to put all the feelings and memories I have of him and how him being gone has really affected me. OK, I'm not going to write about more or else my eyes will start tearing. (wah!) Again, thanks for stopping by!

A gift for Steph

As you're reading this I'm already in Japan. I'm probably just about to go to bed after a day of either walking around the base visiting my old stomping grounds or from a day of shopping offbase and dinner w/some of my dh's co-workers. Whatever I did, I'm sure I'll be exhausted! LOL! Anyhow, I have scheduled a post for today. I made this gift for my friend Stephanie. This bday present was late cause I had changed it several times. The movie is The Holiday which I love and an itune GC. Also decided to include a pack of gum (she's deathly allergic to chocolate,. I know, how sad is that?!), which I totally lifted from Joni! Joni made us a little gum holder for our Island social. I even lifted the saying cause to be honest, I have no creative brain cell left in me right now. Every day I was exhausted from running around taking care of last minute stuff before the trip. And for those that are wondering (as of typing this post (112409)) I have not packed! I know can we say procrastinator? At least I was able to throw in 3 loads of laundry! Woohoo! All right... back to the it is and as always thanks for stopping by!

****EDIT**** I just noticed that the original Birthday card was the wrong had some circles on the bottom of the frame portion which shouldn't be I've uploaded the correct version! I'm so sorry for the mistake and please download the new version!****

Just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Please be safe and enjoy this wonderful holiday with family and friends! And as a gift from me and TGF, here's a card I made instead of a desktop wallpaper. Yes, I know it's a bday card but Marie hasn't made a Thanksgiving kit least this card you can use over and over again! Enjoy!!

Click the picture to download.

To use the card, open up whatever photo editing software and open up whatever picture you want to use and drag it underneath the card layer. Once you got it print! That's it! Email me if you need more help or info!

Oh and check out my girl Jo, she too has some freebies on her blog!

TGF LO #8 - Thankful LO

It's Wednesday and you all who visit my blog knows what that means. It's TGF digital LO day! We were as to do a LO with a "thankful" or "Thanksgiving" theme. I chose to do a "thankful" LO. As usual, my LOs are simple and I usually like using only one photo if I can help it. Once again I recolored the paper to give it that "Thanksgiving/Thankful" feel. As always, thanks for stopping by!

Please checkout my fellow DT's LOs:

Another CD Sleeve Post

Yes, I absolutely love making these! Especially since I'm giving some CD's away for Christmas! Here's another one I made for my dear friend who I will not name until she gets it! LOL! I think this is the last you'll see of these CD sleeves until I get back from Japan...we'll see.

Supplies used: Mindy Terasawa's I Believe papers, CCD stamp (I forgot what this is called), SU Sentiment stamp and punch used to punch it out and SU! CS Certanily Celery.

Yesterday's paper used was by Doodlebug and I don't know the name of it. Hope that helps!

OMG, you guys crack me up! I wasn't fishing for comments for my post. I mean, I appreciate all comments and emails, but really not big deal if you didn't comment. We are tryin' to motivate you to digi scrap. I notice when I post my LOs I don't get much comments, and was wondering if you have no interest at all in that style of scrapping. Also this will help me with my next digital scrapbooking class. So I do appreciate the comments on my work but it is not mandatory. LOL!

One more thing, you're only entered in the drawing IF you comment/email about the digital question. We are tryin' to promote digital kits/scrapping and we need ideas.

CD Sleeve

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting much. Ever since the craft fair I've had no mojo, no inspirations and to be honest, I just wanted to stay away from crafting. I tried and look where its got me, a post at 2:25 AM tryin' to get all my stuff done (*o*) not good. As of right now, I'm trying to schedule a few post for the week since I will be extremely busy this week! I leave for Japan Friday and I have yet to do laundry, pack and get everything else done! Worse is, today I have to take Roxy to the vet for her semi-annual checkup and to get all her shots current before staying at her doggie hotel (^o^). Ahhh, why do I wait last minute? Ugh! Anyhow, just wanted to let everyone know from this week until Dec I will not be able to post much. I really appreciate all who visit, leave comments and send me emails!!!

All right, now on to today's creation. I made this CD Sleeve to house the 2010 CD Calendar which I am giving as a gift to a friend. I just love the stamp image by CC Designs. I love the wings which has SU! Dazzling Diamond it really does make a difference! Sentiment is also from SU!

The 2010 CD Calendars will be available at DD this coming Sunday!

Oh yeah, before I forget, I've noticed a lot of you don't comment when I post a digital LO. I want to take a poll on what we can do to get you interested in digital scrapping or anything digi related. Is it because you are:

1. Not familiar with digital scrapping?
2. Don't have time?
3. Don't like my work (yikes...don't worry I don't like it sometimes either!)?
4. Just not interested?
5. Or other (please explain)

If you don't want to leave a comment, please email me. For those that participate in this survey will be entered to win a prize. I'm not sure what, but you'll get something! LOL! The winner will be announced when I return. You have from now until mid Dec to enter!

TGF Digital Wednesday!

Happy Hump Day Wednesday! Here's my LO submission for TGF Digi Wednesday. Yes, I used the Dirty Sugar kit, but recolored it to make it a bit more masculine since the kit was way too girlie! So many possibilities when you go digital! This is why I'd rather scrapbook in digital than it takes me fo evah! LOL!

Please visit the other talented DCT girls:
OK, to answer some of your questions about the CD Calendar:

These calendars can fit in a regular CD case. It prints month to month sheets. All pages are premade, all you have to do is insert your photo. I have a tutorial on it, just look at the right side of my blog and click on tutorial. Please feel free to email me should you need any help.

2010 CD Calendar

Hi all! I was up late Sunday night till 3 AM Monday morning working on these for my good friend Mindy. I make her her CD Calendars every year and I wanted to get these done and to her before I go on vacation. These calendars are great gifts! I'm thinking of giving my dh and my bro the one I did as sample since they both love Roxy. Just a simple stocking stuffer. You know as you get older, it gets harder to figure out what everyone wants. My dh is especially hard to shop for since he can buy whatever whenever. However he never buys anything for himself. So every year for his bday and Christmas it gets harder and harder to figure out what to get him. Anyhow, I'm not sure how much Mindy plans on selling them for or when it'll go up. But here's your first look at them. I hope to print some out this week so you can see how they look in 3D. Aloha!

I read about Noah Biorkman's story on several blogs my heart sank and I wanted to participate here's my card for Noah.

And if you'd like to participate here is the info.

"A little boy, who just turned 5 is in the end stages of cancer. The family is celebrating Christmas next week as they don't believe that he will make it until the actual holiday. Please consider taking the time to send this little guy a cute Christmas card to make his last Christmas a big holiday for him. "

Today is TGF LO day! This LO is of Roxy's first birthday! I'm sure you can't tell but she's wearing a dress with a tutu. It's so cute on her, make me laugh every time I look at it. The only thing I don't like is the neck part. Any who, I have yet to do a book on her like I have of Avery so I wanted to start on her book and being on a DT is forcing me to do more LOs! Thanks for stopping by! Aloha!

Craft Fair recap

Happy Monday everyone! Am I glad the whole craft fair business is done and over with! LOL! Since this was my first craft fair, I had no idea what to expect. The stuff I thought would sell the most didn't and the stuff I didn't think would sell sold the best! Ahhh, live and learn! I did good but still have some inventory that I may put up on esty or just sell through my blog. We'll see! Oh before I forget, I wanna thank Miss Joni for stopping by! She's such a sweet person, she even brought me some cookies and boy were they oh so ono-licious! As a quick note to any first timers, (I'm sure most of my Hawaii girls are familiar with the whole CF thing, but I wasn't), I was told by my fellow crafters that there will be some crafters "shopping" for ideas...meaning they only go to get ideas on what items to copy...and you know I got a few which was funny cause I had several straight up asking exactly how to make what I made...hahaha! Too funny! I knew there would be some but not ask me exactly how I made my stuff. I'm seriously all for sharing my ideas and how to make stuff but um (not to be mean) not while and at the place I'm trying to sell stuff that I had worked over a month any other time. Wasn't upset about it, just shocked. Another lesson learned! On a brighter note, we met a local celebrity... Tim Sagahara from Hawaii News Now. He is the SIL of one of the coordinator for the CF. Nice guy...didn't realize he isn't from HI but from Cali! Woohoo!

OK, enough about that, here's a pic of my table (wish I thought of presentation, but I didn't so my table was plain)! Be sure to check back tomorrow as I will be giving away something!!!

I Believe - Christmas Kit by Mindy Terasawa

It's 2:30 AM! I'm finally done with my craft fair projects!!! Finally! Right now I'm printing up some business cards and then I'm off to bed! Gotta wake up at 5! Yikes! Anyhow, here's Mindy's latest kit called I Believe (name by yours truly...LOL!). I believe it'll be available at Designer Digitals Sunday...I'll have to double check with Mindy. If I don't post by Sunday then I'm correct. If not I will make a note here on the blog!

Sorry friends, I've been busy tryin't to finish up my craft fair projects. I have to say as my first fair, I've learned a lot. Even though my items may seem simple, it was definitely labor intense. At least I've learned that I need to make more simpler items and if I want to ever participate again. hahaha! We were told that this was a fun thing and not to stress, I have to say there was a lot of stressin' done on my end up until yesterday. I figure why stress? No one is in charge of me and if I don't make a lot, I don't make a lot of mula...that's on me. This again was suppose to be I'm taking that for the rest of the week and allow it to be a fun process. If I don't have a lot of items, I don't have big loss.

With that said, as you know I have not created anything for the blog. I will post a few of the items once I'm all done. I did however create my weekly digi LO for TGF using their latest kit called Dirty Sugar. Which is up for sale at the TGF site...check it out!

OK, without further ado, here's my LO.

Don't forget to check out my fellow digi girls:

TGF Merry Merry Kit - LO #4

Sorry, no time to write much so here's my TGF LO! Simple, simple, simple! LOL Next month I will be using the new kit called Dirty Sugar, it's so cute and perfect for birthday LOs! As always thanks for stopping by!

Oooh, I wanna show my fellow Twilight fans these cool scrapbook papers that my girl Margarita got me. Isn't she the best?

And before I forget I wanna answer Michelle's question regarding the Halloween pails - I got them from Walmart. Those were bought on the mainland, however I bought a couple last year at the WalMart in Pearl City. My WalMart isn't selling them this year. Hopefully you're WalMart will have them. Good luck!!

Oh yeah one more question from Linda - I believe Marie is going to have Ebony for sale, just not sure when, if it'll be rubber or digi. As soon as I find out, I'll post on my blog.

And on a last note...please forgive me for not visiting or commenting on your blog. I promise when I have time I will!

It's Alice!

I was so excited when I found out I had won this cute image from TGF! I was visiting the TGF blog read everything, even noticed names/usernames on the post but never realized I was one of them! It wasn't until I got the daily blog updates in my inbox that I noticed my username. You can imagine me jumping up and down with excitement and disbelief that I actually won. Wowzer! Anyhow, yesterday was a bit chaotic. I didn't go to bed the night before...ended up sleeping at 5AM and no, not cause I was up working on craft fair stuff, but just reading a book. By the time I decided to put the book down, I called my bff in DC because I knew had I called her later in the day it would have been too late. Needless to say, I woke up at 10! What a waste of the morning! Tuesdays are usually my errand days and since I've wasted the morning I figured the only thing I really could do was to go to the Commissary. Of course by the time I got back, put all the groceries away, clean up a bit, shower and start on dinner 3/4 of the day had gone. Figured after dinner I'd start working again, but then I decided to watch the Orphan. Wow, didn't see that coming! It was interesting, not the greatest movie nor was it bad.

OK, enough of my rambling, since it was so late to get back to work I wanted to make a card (just to make, craft for fun for once) using this new image that only 4 or 5 of us has. Alice is my favorite vampire and so glad I had the chance to play with her! Are you still reading, did I lose you? LOL! All's the card, stoled the LO from Amy of A thousand Sheets of Paper. Didn't have time to do the blending stuff w/copics so no comments on that! haha! TFL!

Goodies from Mindy!!! Woohoo!

Check out this loot! LOL! Mindy sent me all these! Can you believe it? These are all of her creations! I know we're all used to seeing her digital stuff online, but did you know a lot of her digital creations have been turned into traditional scrapbooking supplies? For those that don't recognize it in the store (since it's not normally under her name, usually the Scrapbooking Companies) you should try looking...she worked with Imagincse, MME, Bo Bunny, Autumn Leaves and A2Z Essentials to name a few. Some have her name on it but others don't. One line I know all of you crafters will definitely recognize but not know is her, is her Fairest of them All kit manufactured by Imaginsce. Sadly Imaginisce is no longer printing them. (*o*) Just love that line. I have to say that has to be by far my most favorite of all her kits. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ALL HER KITS...but that by far is number one on my list! LOL! Anyhow, here is what she sent me. Look to the near future, I will be giving these away as blog candy (don't quote all depends on time for me). I'm thinking maybe in January since I'm so busy right now and I'll be going back to Japan for a couple of weeks then of course it'll be Christmas and New yeah, keep a look out for it around Jan/Feb timeframe! OK now that you know she does traditional scrapbooking kits, check it out the next time you're at a Scrapbooking store! Aloha!

Halloween Thank You RAKs

OK, I'm still on the notebook...I think tonight maybe the last night of making these suckers...LOL! I may make some later this week, but for the majority of it, I'm done! I'm pretty sure you guys are tired of them and since I haven't made anything other than those, I'm posting a few RAKs I made the Vet back in VA. I made them these pails full of nugget candies as a Thank You for taking care of Avery. DH and had to go to Rhode Island for dh's classes and we needed to checkout of housing, unfortunately we couldn't take Avery with us so we had to leave him at his Vets. I wanted to give them something as a thank you and good bye present so this is what I made. Thanks for stopping by! Aloha!

Christmas @ Tokyo Disney

Last Dec M and I were in Japan for M's work and as usual, I tagged along! We went to Tokyo Disney because dh's mission is to go to ALL the Disney's! Crazy if you ask me! LOL! Anyhow, it was decorated in Christmas theme so you totally felt the Holiday Spirit. In fact, that was probably the only place M felt the holiday spirit. LOL! Japanese people don't really celebrate Christmas. Anyhow, it was Disney's 25th year in Japan...can you believe I was there opening day 25 years ago? Wowzer! Anyhow here's my LO:

Hello Kitty Birthday Calendar Book

Got this idea from PTI. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make one. I alter mine a tad bit. Had I gone w/the their idea, I would have used too many CS as I would like. Not sure if I'll be making these for the Craft Fair but wanted to try it. TFL!

Everyday Basics by Mindy Terasawa and a New Stamp Designer!

Sorry, no creations folks! I've had a migraine this weekend and was busy making stuff for my craft fair. Here's some new paper packs available at DD. Check them out! I just love all the colors!!!!

I'd like to answer a few questions that were asked;

1. I got the Hello Kitty image on the web.
2. Sweeties are on a hold right now. Tryin' to make them line art is taking forever...when you delete a certain line it alters the next so I want them to be perfect. Right now I'm extremely busy so I'm looking at starting them back up around beginning of next year. I promise I'll make a huge announcement as soon as at least one goes into production! Thanks so much for your patient!
Did I miss a question? If so, please either leave a comment or email me directly.

And next I am so happy that Amy from A thousand sheets of paper is now designing rubber stamps!!!! She is such a talented artist, I love how she alters images...especially the TGF ones and now she's creating her own line! She has some blog candy so please stop by and give her some love! Here's what's up for grabs:

Another Great RAK

Can I tell you how surprised I was when I got this great RAK from Gail Woo!! She's such a sweetie!!! I just love getting unexpected mail especially the homemade ones! Love it!! Check out how she used the Sweetie! What a talented lady!

Gail, if you're reading this, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

Another Digi Invite

Seriously haven't had time to create for fun or for me...oh well! Nice to be busy and racking in some extra mula (^o^) LOL! Made this invite for my friend back home...same person I did the baby announcement and change of address. This is of her dd (!). Its a Hello Kitty themed party. I personally don't like saturating the invite w/all kinds of graphics. I feel it takes away from the main purpose. Again, another simple card. I'm not sure she'll go for it so this may not be the final invite. I personally like it...hahaha! And believe me, I don't normally like everything I create.

Here's my digi LO for TGF. It's a bit sad (at least for me it is)...but I wanted to make it can't always scrap happy memories...all apart of life. Anyhow this is of my beloved Avery whom we lost the summer of 08 and I have yet gotten over it. Really miss him, there's definitely a huge hole missing in my heart. I tell you, if you've never owned a dog, you truly are missing out. They're always soooo happy to see you walk through the doors, they're always by your side, no matter how mad you get at them, they love you unconditionally. Sigh...I'm gonna end it here or else I'll be crying my eyes out! Just like I did last Saturday when there was nothing on TV but Marley and Me, just got done tellin' the ladies at the get together I was not gonna watch it, I did and ended up crying my eyes out. Anyhow, TFL!

Here is the preview of the TGF Merry Merry Kit:

Please check out my fellow TGF digi girls:

OK, I had someone ask me what paper I used on my Witch Anya card...both DP were from Doodlebug. Got it from Photocrafts. Email me if you need any more info (^o^)

Happy Hallowen from Witch Anya!

I hope you're not tired of seeing Halloween projects on my blog, cause I'll be showcasing a few more before Halloween! I just love this day and love creating anything Halloween. So this card I made was inspired by Amy...basically almost lifted her Witch Anya...I had planned on creating one before I saw her's but you know what, her's was so cute, I just had to lift it! I'm sure you'll agree when you click on her link! She's definitely one talented artist!!! Anyhow, here's my card...TFL!

On a side note...I won't be doing my montly blogwear giveaways for a while. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, I am super busy. I'll start it back up beginning of the new year! Sorry! Please be patient with me! Mahalo!

Blog Wear Winners

Congratulations to Jacilynn and Jenny! First one to email me gets first choice! Please email me what you'd like on your blog banner (sorry, no Sweeties will be included on blog banner).
