Father's Day Card 2

Here's my second Father's Day Card for my dad. I decided to make this way more simpler than the other (yeah, I know the other was pretty simple). I figure men aren't too hung up on cards and crafty stuff and always find that sometimes simple is the best. I am racing with time to get these cards and gifts out to our father's who are both on the mainland so I need to mail them off today! Yeah, I'm laggin'!

Oh yeah, I was lucky enough to meet Emeril Lagasse, on Sunday. Thanks to our NEX (Navy Exchange). Unfortunately the NEX wouldn't let us take personal pictures with him so I got one of me talking to him and the other while standing right in front of where he was signing. I'll spare you and just post a pic of him. Enjoy and as always thanks for stopping by!

(My husband actually took the pic, I didn't have a brush with his logo so for now I'm keeping mine on)

love your father's day cards! they are so cute and this Ian is the cutest by far! how did you do his hat and clothes? its so neat! love the color combos too! yah...I agree...men rather have simple and really don't know how to appreciate the detail and effort that was put in a card. but I'm sure they'll love receiving it! TFS!

Oooh, very nice Father's Day card, Claudette! I love the colors and that awesome paper. You did a wonderful job coloring and paper piecing. I haven't paper pieced for a while. TGF stamps are fantastic stamps to paper piece, huh?

How cool to meet Emeril. I ate at one of his restaurants in Vegas. Very yummy!
