Aloha everyone! Thanks for all the great comments and visits! I truly appreciate it!!! Especially the comments...I know I'm not the best stamper out there (digi is another thing) but it's always nice to hear about my work whether it be good or bad it helps me grow as an artist!! Hello Kitty Card for Grayton

OMG, I cannot believe that Joy from Tamiko's has a store that sells The Greeting Farm stamps (formerly known as Pink Poison) and other great craft supplies! I have been emailing her and visiting her blog on a daily basis and it never occurred to me to look throughly at her blog. Hero Arts - Robot

Sweeties by Mindy Terasawa

Happy Sunday everyone! I know I said I'd post either Friday night or Saturday but of course time got the best of me and I wasn't feeling well Saturday and pretty much stayed in bed the whole day.

Anyhow below is a picture of Mindy's Sweeties. What are Sweeties you ask? Well they are little Avatars that suppose to look like you in a chubby cute way (^o*). You can use these to make cards and on your scrapbook pages. The possibilities are endless. So what you do is pick one that closely resemble you. If you need a color change or outfit switch (between those on the preview) I can do that for you. I am selling these each for $5 (via paypal only). Each meaning one sweetie, not the whole sheet...LOL! I am also thinking of making them into digi stamps so if you are interested please let me know. I also as you to please DO NOT bug Mindy requesting a custom Sweetie. She refuses to do them and that is probably why she has given me the go ahead as far as selling these premade Sweeties.

Mindy Terasawa's new Valentine Kit

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been MIA from the blog. I got tons of appointments this week and next so I haven't been able to answer emails or blog hop lately :( Can't wait to get everything done and over with so I can get back to creating and blog hopping (^-*)

Anyhow my good and talented friend Mindy has come out with a new Valentine Kit called Sweet Love...this is a romantic kit with a twist of Asian flair. That's at least how I interpret it...lol! And for my Hawaiian/Japanese friends, don't you fret as she is coming out with another Valentine kit that'll be more our type...CUTESY! I can't wait to see!!!! Looks like those SU! Demo's (those who ordered one package of catalogs) maybe be getting them today!!!!! Joy D. I think you're a demo yeah? If you ordered one box, then maybe your order is one of them in the pic below. I hope the way I looked it up was correct...watch it be someone elses' order...hahaha! All of the packages that UPS is delivering today are all coming from same place and delivered to the Ewa Residents. I took the lead from the other demos and typed in West 1 Package and our zip...so lets cross our fingers this is it! **I just noticed it says sked delivery Jan 13, but if you look it up and click on the details it says its out for delivery so hopefully that's because it's being updated from either the west or east coast?**

Pink Poison - Pink Riding Hood

LOL...yeah, yeah she's suppose to be Red Riding Hood but I wanted to use up my retired DSP from SU! so that's how she became Pink Riding Hood...LOL! I'm actually not to thrilled on how this came out. But I wanted to create something. I guess the creative juices are not flowin' tonight. It could be because I went to Fisher to look for the New Hero Art stamps that Joy got and there were no more :( I even had the sales person look through all the new boxes and they had everything but that! Yeah, that could be it...lets blame it on that! LOL! OK, enough blabbing here's my card:

CD Calendar Tutorial

Here's my feeble attempt on a tutorial for the CD Calendars.

First of all you should have a photo editing software that allows you to use "layers". Keep in mind I don't know how the other photo editing softwares works but I believe it's very similar to Photoshop in which layers are used.

So first open up one of the months. In this example, I've opened up June. (Please excuse my wallpaper I'm sorry if it may be distracting the dogs are not part of the LO/calendar.) Please click on the picture to see a larger version.

Noticed on the right side on my "layers" section it shows one layer which is titled : "June Calendar"

Then I open the picture (my sister will kill me for posting her beach picture, but this is all I can find that relates to the water...I am however far more sexier than she is, that's how you can tell us apart...LOL!) I want to drag onto the June layer.


I know I've said onto, but what I really want to do is drag it beneath the June layer to look like this:

Notice the red arrow pointing to the picture underneath the June Calendar. That's how it should look regardless of what software you're using. Once you get it like the picture, you can print from there.

Alice in Wonderland - Pink Poison

OK, I totally forgot what's Pink Poison's new name is...too lazy to look for it so I'll have to edit this later. LOL! Been cleaning all day and frankly I'm beat and lazy!

I needed to upload something new on this blog so here's a card I did using PP's Alice in Wonderland stamp. I know, I know...I totally suck in coloring w/my Copics...gotta learn to master the art of coloring with Copics. As you can see the face and some parts of the dress are very uneven, but I did not want to go over the face again because I did not want her face to be too dark. And I actually just noticed the dress is uneven. Sigh... I guess practice makes perfect. (And if you're wondering, I got the set of Copics while visiting Japan and let me tell you, they are soo much cheaper there!) Gonna have to do another Alice to replace the one on the card, but for now here's a pic taken with my point and shoot which I hate using when taking a pic of my cards...but oh well. LOL! TFL!

As for the calendars, I had every intentions of getting this done today. However Mindy pointed out that I had made some of the months transparent...need to edit. Gomen! I also forgot dh and I had planned on painting my room before my new office fixtures are installed. I promise hopefully by Monday morning I will have announced the winner and fixed the calendars.
