Craft Fair recap

Happy Monday everyone! Am I glad the whole craft fair business is done and over with! LOL! Since this was my first craft fair, I had no idea what to expect. The stuff I thought would sell the most didn't and the stuff I didn't think would sell sold the best! Ahhh, live and learn! I did good but still have some inventory that I may put up on esty or just sell through my blog. We'll see! Oh before I forget, I wanna thank Miss Joni for stopping by! She's such a sweet person, she even brought me some cookies and boy were they oh so ono-licious! As a quick note to any first timers, (I'm sure most of my Hawaii girls are familiar with the whole CF thing, but I wasn't), I was told by my fellow crafters that there will be some crafters "shopping" for ideas...meaning they only go to get ideas on what items to copy...and you know I got a few which was funny cause I had several straight up asking exactly how to make what I made...hahaha! Too funny! I knew there would be some but not ask me exactly how I made my stuff. I'm seriously all for sharing my ideas and how to make stuff but um (not to be mean) not while and at the place I'm trying to sell stuff that I had worked over a month any other time. Wasn't upset about it, just shocked. Another lesson learned! On a brighter note, we met a local celebrity... Tim Sagahara from Hawaii News Now. He is the SIL of one of the coordinator for the CF. Nice guy...didn't realize he isn't from HI but from Cali! Woohoo!

OK, enough about that, here's a pic of my table (wish I thought of presentation, but I didn't so my table was plain)! Be sure to check back tomorrow as I will be giving away something!!!

Wow! That's a lot of HK. So cute. Sorry, I couldn't figure out where it was. My suggestion is to sell it on Etsy and post a link via your blog. Your stuff is so sweet!!!

great craft fair items! you really worked so hard and love all your ideas! sorry to hear about the "shopping crafters" I heard of that too and it's awful when they do it right there in front of your face. glad you sold most of your stuff... funny how things you think will go don't and the stuff you think are so-so...do really well! I better make a variety of things too...if not I may not sell a thing! hahaha! TFS and have a wonderful Monday!

Hi Claudie! First of all, how ghetto is that for crafters to "idea shop" and to have the nerve to ask you how to make it!!??

I am making some of those note pads for a CF, but they are not half as pretty as yours!!! I LOVE all the goodies you made, no wonder you were so super busy!

Take Care and Huggies,
Kyoko
