The Greeting Farm's Summertime Print and Cut Kit is here!

Woohoo!  I absolutely love this kit!  Perfect for our summer themed scrapbooks and cards!  Since I lived in Hawaii, I have tons of beach and summer pictures so this kit is perfect for me!  And I know it'll be a great addition for you!

Before I go any further, I'm always asked if you need an electronic cutting machine for any of our Print and Cut kits, and the answer is "no".  Basically you can just cut everything out using your scissors.  But if you have  a Silhouette or any other machine that reads .svg, .studio files you should be able to use it and it makes it easier and faster.  But I find sometimes on those rare occasion when I want to just sit in front of the tv and do something with my hands, I actually print and just cut by hand, it's pretty therapeutic.

Now on to my reveal...I created a card and a layout.  I used the "Enjoy Today" banner, Summertime Anya, scallop border and the "Today I feel Loved" on my card.  Papers are from Studio Calico Boardwalk.

For my layout, I used DCWV background paper from their Endless Summer Stack, the sun, "enjoy life", slippahs (as we say in HI), "today I feel cool", "today I feel Happy", and the .5cent embellies from the Summertime kit and a few enamel dots.

And before I give you the details to our Blog Hop,We have a Guest Designer - Kristina Werner joining us on our release.  I am jumping up and down like a little girl! LOL!  That lady has some mad talent!  Please visit her blog and/or Youtube channel as she does a process video on how she created her card using the Summetime kit. While you're there, check out her other creations, she's made a bunch of cards using some of our TGF stamps!  Her blog is filled with tons of awesome inspiration!

Now onto our Blog Hop...  check out all our blogs (Corinne, Cynthia, Suilan) where you will find more creations from the Print and Cut Design Team including Kristina. Comment on each blog and hop back to the TGF blog to let us know you’re done.  That is it!  One random winner will be selected, and win the Summertime kit!  Be sure to finish the hop by tomorrow night (June 17th) at 11:30 (PST).  The winner will be announced on June 18!  Good luck to all!

Ohayou!

We got Geisha Anya, Holiday Anya and Holiday Anya 3 Coordinating Stamp Cutouts at the store today!  When Geisha Anya first came out she was a digi and I was hoping and praying she would become a rubber stamp and woohoo!  Marie answered our prayers and created her in rubbah!  I of course bought her when she was a digi and had to use her ASAP, for those of you that hasn't followed my blog from day one, you wouldn't know but I was raised in Japan.  I am not Japanese but I grew up there and I do consider it my "home".  Being a Military child, we don't have a sense of home since we move every 3 -4 years.  However we were lucky enough my dad had several back to back tours in Japan.  We actually forced him to leave Japan once my brother started college.  Looking back, I wish we would have just left my bro in the states and stayed in Japan.  LOL!

Anyhow, not only am I glad to have created Geisha Anya in cutout form, but happy to have created the two remaining Holiday Anya's.  This helps my Christmas cards and tags go much faster.  And before you scratch you head saying I'm a bit early... it is because I am!  I have to otherwise they will not get done.  I usually create some of the nieces tags and cards now so I won't be too unprepared this year! So for those of you that are like me...well, here you go...  One less thing to worry about come Christmas time!  Enjoy!  You can get them here!

A Few Things...

...I'm sick today (started last night), I have a sore throat and it's due to my allergies.  Phlegm that has been lodged in my throat causing it...I'm assuming.  I feel miserable.  For some reason, I have yet to crawl onto my couch behind me and catch up on Homeland since we have free Showtime this weekend.  I want to get a few things done before I do that cuz once I'm on that sofa, there's no way of getting me out of it!  I am working on some The Greeting Farm work and I need to get them done for the store.  I just love working for Marie!  I hope we can expand and find more new avenues with the company.  Did I tell you how sick I feel? Ugh!

Anyhow, for some odd reason, I wanted to jot those all down.  Maybe it's for me to go back on and document in my Project Life.  Or it could be the affects of Nyquil.  Oooh...I'm suppose to go with the hubby to Bed Bath and Beyond to look for curtain rods and curtains for my studio... I would love to stay home all day in pj's but if I don't jump on this offer, he'll never do it! UGH!

I will leave you with few pics...

I made Pistachio Macarons...so yummy! Please ignore my ghetto polish! LOL!  Oh that reminds me, I need to do my nails! LOL!

Yesterday when my throat started to hurt, I laid in bed and she kept me company.  Don't mind the mess in the background, that's dh's clothes, he seems to think that's where you put your clothes even though I've repeatedly removed them from that spot...but as you can see...he doesn't get it. *sigh*

And while we were lounging, this naughty boy decided to strip me of my blanket.  I swear it's like I have a toddler...who will never grow up...

This morning even if I was feeling sick, I baked some ham and cheese croissant and Kouignette's from William Sonoma...can you say "YUM"? I'm dreaming of going back to London and Paris.  I'm hoping we can go early fall.  I want to take advantage of my Buckingham Palace tix that's good for this year.  These pastries reminds me of Europe.  That reminds me, I need to brush up on my French.  I had to take French in middle school I remember a few here and there.  I can pick up on some when I was in France but not enough to get me by.  Ah...I miss the streets of both London and France.  Sorry, my minds all scattered and I'm going from one subject to another...  I really do blame it on Mr. Nyquil (^_~)

That's all I have for now.  Don't forget to check back on Monday, I'll have some new TGF Coordinating Stamp Cut files up!

I owe several of my IG friends some recipe, promise to have it sent to you guys soon, I promise!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!

The Greeting Farm has some Oldies but Goodies going on...

Today I'm bringing back some oldies but goodies.  I have to say these three Anya cut outs are a few of my favorites.  When I first found The Greeting Farm (previously Pink Poison) stamps, I fell in love with Angel Anya and she was one of the first stamps that I bought and I was hooked!  But I have to say Fleur Anya is definitely my favorite stamp from The Greeting Farm.  So I'm so happy that I chose Angel Anya, Fleur Anya and Flirty Anya  I hope you guys are just as happy as I am to see them in Cut Out form.

One last hurrah for The Greeting Farm's Hoppy Easter Kit and some Coordinating Cut Files

Hey everyone!  It's the day after Easter and the Print and Cut team has one last inspirational blog post for you!  Just in case you guys needed one last look at the kit so scrap all your wonderful Easter pictures!  I have to say the team did a phenomenal job!  Here's my projects for this week.

For project was to create a 3D project.  I decided to create the Free Standing Pop Up Card.  I created the template on my silhouette.  Super easy!  This card folds and fits in an A2 envelope.  I pretty much used all the elements from the Hoppy Easter kit.The "some bunny loves you" is from Mama Elephant.

My second project was a LO, I decided to do an Easter LO because I wanted you guys to see it used as an Easter LO one last time.  I know you must have taken tons of Easter pics, so why not do my last LO as an Easter LO.  I used the journal cards, again, I erased the "my bunny" and stamped the "I'm all ears!" which is from Mama Elephant.  Resized the pink bunny and added some doilies and enamel dots.

Hope you can get some ideas from my projects.   Please check out The Greeting Farm's blog and my fellow DT's blog:  Corinne, Cynthia and SuiLan to see their awesome projects!

And before I go, we got more Coordinating Cut Files available at The Greeting Farm's store.  They're only $1, so worth it! Saves you tons of time and easy to use!

Sunday, April 13, 2014

Hello!  The Greeting Farm's Cut File Team is back with more Hoppy Easter inspiration.  This week we were tasked to create two projects using the kit for anything BUT an Easter project.  I wanted to showcase this kit as a versatile kit.  You don't just need this kit for Easter, but anything you set your mind to!  Here are my two projects:

My first project I created a spring layout.  Here I used the the polka dot 6x4 journal card, and the 3x4 filler card along with the 3x4 filler card from the Berry Sweet Daily Life kit.  I also used the flowers, pink butterfly and the label with the heart from the BS Daily Life kit.  The butterflies that you see, were punched from the Easter eggs.  I punched out the clouds from my Fiskars med and large cloud punch And I used some washi tape on the top and bottom.

On my second project I decided to create a Daily Life project with all the cards from the Hoppy Easter kit.  I did the same thing with the butterflies that I did in the 1st layout.  I also stiched the clouds and sun from the Amy Tangerine Stitching Stencils (I know my cloud looks a bit wonky, need to fix that!).  As you can see two of my cards from the kit were a bit altered.  I erased the "hello" and the "My Hunny Bunny", to better suit my needs. This is what I love about having these digital files!  There are endless possibilities with it!  Try for yourself and let us know what you've done with this kit!

Hope you got some inspiration from this and from the other DT memebers...you can check their blogs here:

We got more Cut Outs!

I just love these cut outs.  I know I've said it before but I can't stress how much these cut outs have made it so easy and quick for me!  This week we are releasing Birthday Anya 3, Beanie Ian and Holiday Anya 2!  You can purchase these here.

As you can see, I've cut and stamped the coordinating images on the cut outs and left one blank so you can see what it looks like after it was cut.  Please feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding these files.

More Hoppy Easter Inspirations!

Good Day!  The Greeting Farm's Print and Cut team is back with more inspiration using the Hoppy Easter kit.  Our theme was one Easter project and one spring project.  Here are my take on it:

On this first project, I did a Spring LO...I used the flower element (blue flower with green background), "Spring is Here" 3x4 journal card (behind Avery's picture), 3x4 polka dot journal card, I cut the "Egg-stra Special" tag to just "Special" also did that with the "Happy" from "Happy Easter" but for some reason it fell off (will need to retake pic to include it.).  This was taken during Spring in DC when the Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom (gorgeous!) and this is with my first Samoyed, Avery.  I've always wanted to scrap this picture and the elements of the Hoppy Easter kit went perfect with it!

My second project is a card in a box.  I just love making these!  I love how well the Hoppy Easter kit worked with this.  I'll be handing these cute little card in a box to my nieces for Easter.   If you haven't made them, you should!  They are addicting!

Side view of the card in the box:

OK, hope you got some fun inspirations from my projects.  Please check out TGF's blog and the blogs of my fellow DT's:

Surprise! New TGF kit and Blog Hop!

Yeay, The Greeting Farm has a new kit - Hoppy Easter!  This kit is a mini kit with an exclusive digital stamp – Easter Bean!  Woohoo!  (^_^)   Just a little info regarding this kit and our previous Print and Cut kits.  You do not actually need an electronic cutting machine.  But of course you know having one is easier but not necessary.   We have set up all the files in our kits to accommodate those that do have one and those that do not.   The Hoppy Easter kit contains:  4 -3×4 journal and filler cards, 2 -6×4 filler and journal card, 20 – elements and one EXCLUSIVE digital stamp!

Not only do we have a new mini kit, but we also have a new Team!  Design Team that is...we are no longer a "guest"!  Woohoo!  Check out The Greeting Farm blog for more info and an introduction to the team.

Our task for this week was to create one Daily Life page and card.  Here are my take on it:

Since I don't have kids, I decided to use the kit for a spring page.  It's pretty versatile and as you can see in one of my 6x4 cards, there's an Easter egg shaped journal section...but really it goes with anything.

For my card, I wanted to make an easel card, I used Easter Bean and the cute bunny from the kit.  Got the post-it from Target's dollar section a few years back...  If you didn't know Marie (owner/designer of TGF) created some for Target a couple of years ago.  I think I may have a few but can't seem to find them right now.

Hope you were able to take some inspiration out of my projects and my fellow DT.  Don't forget we are having a Blog Hop on The Greeting Farm blog.  You must visit all DT's blogs, comment on each and then go back to The Greeting Farm's blog to let us know you've done it.  All entries must be done before 11:30 PST on Mar 18.   One lucky commenter will be selected at random to win the Hoppy Easter kit on Mar 19.  Good luck!

TGF Monday - new addition...

Happy Monday!  Marie (TGF owner/designer) and I have teamed up to offer TGF fans cut outs of existing TGF stamps!  How cool is that?  We are releasing three cutouts today consisting of:  Double Cupcake Anya, Miss Anya Night Out and Sweetie Bean.  Here's an example of how the file looks:

Here I have the three files cut out and stamped...of course I left one w/o stamping so you can see how it looks.  I'm sure there are a bunch of you out there that are probably either too busy or super lazy (that's me!) to cut your images.  We've done the work for  you and all you have to do is, send the files through your Silhouette, let it do the hard work for you, stamp your image onto the cut out, color and then add to your project!  Each file is only $1.00!  So not only are you not cutting your images out by hand but you're getting it for a STEAL!  Woohoo!  You can purchase these files here.  Enjoy and hope this helps your creativity go a lot smoother and faster (^_^)

Lazy Friday...

It's been a while since I blogged just to blog.  Normally I try to keep my blog about anything creative, but for some reason, today I decided to just share a tad bit about what's going on today...  Which is pretty much nothing...haha!  I decided to take a lazy day.  No workout and no cleaning.  I refuse to make the bed too! ha!  That's how lazy I am.  Even so lazy to eat...I'm hungry but too lazy.  But since my tummy is making me eat, I decided to skip my salad and protein and just have a cheat day all dang day, after all it's called a cheat DAY and not cheat lunch! lol!  I'm have this...

Mac salad, Filipino style and not Hawaiian style, there is a difference! And a cup of coke.  Yes, so not healthy and so not really a lunch meal.  But, this is what I'm in the mood for.  Tonight the hubby's bring home some Von's friend chicken. Have you had it?  If not you should its super yummy it reminds me of my favorite Zippy's fried chicken!  He's also picking up some fries from Wing Stop, I love the seasoning they put on it.

So there you have it...a little peek into my "personal" life (^_^)

As for a little crafty write up...  I made my childhood friend's daughter who just got married on the 15th a Wedding Card... Of course this was created digitally...

Then I made my FIL a bday card also made digitally...

OK folks, thanks so much for stopping by!  Have an awesome weekend!

More Inspirations Using TGF's Berry Sweet Print and Cut and Berry Sweet Daily Life Kits

Hello Everyone!  Hoping everyone had an awesome Valentine's day/weekend!  Here at my house, we had a nice and quiet dinner with a Netflix move and on Saturday we celebrated my FIL's 84th birthday!

Speaking of Valentine's day, we at the Farm created a few inspiration for you.  This time we had no theme but to just create whatever our little hearts desired (^_^)  I made some 3x4 cards of each of the dogs for dh and a card with the both of them to give to the nieces since we'd be seeing them for my FIL's bday.  Check them out:

I of course created them digitally because well, I did these last minute as usual I was late! LOL!  I then printed them out and created matching envelopes.

For my next project I created a traditional layout

I used both the Berry Sweet Print and Cut and the Berry Sweet Life Daily Life kits.   I used the banner, butterfly, cutie patootie, forever and you're cute from the BSPC.  All the journal cards from BSDL kit.  I also used the TGF's Snowflake Die which I absolutely love!

Ok, it's your turn!  TGF wants to see what you created using one or both of the kits!  One lucky person will be selected at random to receive their choice of an in-stock Single Rubber Stamp or a 4x6 set!  So please show us!

And before I end this blog post, please check out my fellow Guest DT's  Corinne and Jerodelle's work from even more inspiration!

Bling it Up on the TGF File Cut Monday

It's another Monday and I'm here to showcase my projects for TGF's Berry Sweet Cut and Print, and Berry Sweet Daily Life kits.  Today's theme was picked by Jerodelle, she chose Bling it UP!  I have to say I'm not into too many elements on my cards or layouts so this was definitely a challenge.  My first project is a scrapbook layout of Roxy.  I decided to do a digital layout to show how versatile this kit can be.  We must not forget about our digi scrappers!  If you didn't know, I am first and foremost a digital scrapper.  I love how you can manipulate everything in Photoshop but I also love the traditional way of scrapping and lately I've been scrapping that way oppose to digital scrapping.  I do miss digital scrapping so that's why I decided to do this layout to show the versatility of this kit.  As you can see, I used two of the 3x4 filler cards from the BS Daily Life kit, Kiss Kiss, Love You and Cutie Patootie tidbits from the BS Print and Cut kit.  I also added some sequins, glittered hearts, glitter and doily to the layout.  If you hadn't notice, my style is pretty clean and simple (95% of the time).  I then printed this out to 8x8 and I will mat it onto a 12x12 as soon as I figure out which paper to use.  But really my LOs usually look like this...

My second project is a card using the Double Cupcake Anya which I believe was Limited Edition stamp.  I bling'd it up with some diamond bling on the butterfly, Anya's hair clip, on top of both cupcakes and three diamonds on the bottom right hand corner of the card.  As much as I wanted to totally bling up my card and LO, that's all my mind would allow me to do...lol!  I truly believe "Less is More".  What about you?

Are you guys enjoying these kits?  Do you have any questions regarding the kit?  Please share with us your creations using this kit!  We would love to see them!  Who knows, you may win a prize!  As always thanks for stopping by!  Please check out the TGF blog and my fellow DT's blog for inspiration!

Masucline File Cut Monday and a Challenge at TGF

Hello everyone!  Thanks for stopping by.  Today me and the GDT Ladies from Farm were tasked to create two masculine projects using the Berry Sweet line.  I created a little Valentine's day card (you know, like the ones you'd get from school 3x4 size).  This fits perfectly in my mailbox that I created last week. I made an envelope along with it. I used one of the 3x4 journal cards from the Berry Sweet Daily Life kit, butterfly and cupcake from the Berry Sweet Cut and Print kit and the super cute Happy Chef Ian.

On my 2nd project, I made a Treat box (inspired by Maria Bell).  The Treat box included hot cocoa and some yummy Hershey's Chocolate Nuggets which I wrapped with one of the 4x6 filler cards (was able to get 8 cuts) from the Berry Sweet Daily Life kit, the word Sweet is from the Berry Sweet Cut and Print kit and the super cute Beanie Ian which I thought fit perfectly with the box.

If you have any questions or would like to recreate this, please drop me a line!  And please check out the TGF blog because we got a challenge going on and if you are the lucky winner you get your choice of either a Single Stamp or one of the Berry Sweet Kits.

Don't forget to stop by my fellow GDT girls:
Corrine Mercado
Jerodelle Trinidad

Happy crafty and please share with us your creations!

TGF File Cut Monday

We are starting a new post every Monday at the TGF Blog.  Today we are showcasing another Daily Life page and a Valentine Favor.  My first project is for my Daily Life page for 2013's Valentine spread (yes, I'm still playing catch up to both 2012 and 2013!  I am happy to report I am almost done on both!  Woohoo!)  For my Daily Life Album, I decided to go small since I wasn't documenting my everyday like I did with 2012.  I like this format so much better because it allowed me to document and not worry about too much of the details.  Not to say I do not like the 12x12 format because I love it and will be doing it this year.  Thinking of alternating on both sizes.  Anyhow, check out my layout:

My second project is a Mailbox which is bigger than I had anticipated but it's cute nonetheless (^_^), at least I thought so...lol! This box will hold all those cute Valentine goodies that you get from school!  I wish I created this back when I was in school...LOL!

Anyhow, hope you like it and hope you got lots of ideas!  For more ideas, please check out my fellow DT members:

TGF Surprise Release!!

I am super excited to debut the follow up to the Berry Sweet Cut and Print Kit with the Berry Sweet Daily Life Kit! This kit features more daily life type files, like journal cards, cut tags and labels that still features our beloved sweet and cute TGF style!  The set consists of 12 - 3x4 cards, 4 - 6x4 cards, 2 cut tags, 11 labels and 16 ephemera's. This kit is not exclusive to scrappers alone.  When this line was created, it was created for card makers, scrappers, daily documenters, basically an all around versatile kit!   Pair it with the Berry Sweet Cut and file kit and there is not limit to how you can use it!

To give this "Berry Sweet" kit the proper welcome that it deserves, and to celebrate that we are branching out into something NEW, The Greeting Farm is PROUD to introduce an amazing new team of Guest Designers, please welcome:

Here are a couple of my projects:

Decided to use Style Anya for this card, I thought it went well with the "Call Me" sentiment and I wanted to show you guys you can use any of the TGF stamps to go with this line.

And finally, I decided to do a Valentine favor, after all, this is a Valentine kit (^_~)  I decided to do a print and cut on Berry Sweet Anya because, well, I was super tired and too lazy to piece it all together.  And that folks is the beauty of this kit.  You can choose to put all it piece by piece or you can do a print and cut.  Not only that, you can recolor these images to suit your needs! FTW (For the Win)!

Please stop by the blogs of these talented ladies to welcome them to the Farm and also be sure to stop by the TGF Blog today to view their other projects and a chance to WIN the "Berry Sweet Daily Document" kit!!!

Here's an image of the kit:

If you cannot wait, you can purchase the kit here.
