I'm here...

Sorry friends!  I'm here, well barely but I'm here!  Last week was a horrible week for me.  Roxy was spayed on Monday, they say that it should take her about a day or so to get back to her regular self.  But she didn't!  She wasn't feeling well the whole week.  Maybe one day she was all right but for the most part she was really down, depressed and in pain.  I rushed her to the vets Thursday night and it's a good thing I did!  She had a temp of 105.5.  Regular temp for dogs are about 101.  They gave her antibiotics and it seemed to bring her temp down but it wasn't always consistent.  Once her pain meds ended she was really miserable.  Thankfully yesterday she' was about 85% back to normal.  Hopefully today she'll be 95 to 100%.  I take her to the vets today for suture check up.  That was actually my main concern.  I thought she would lick the area but she didn't.  Besides that my in-laws are here and have been staying in my room .  They actually left last night for the Hale Koa to be with other family members and won't be back here until next week so I have a bit of a break.  Whew!  I so need a break!

Anyhow, I was able to make a card for a friend for her bday.  I'm a bit sad this was all I was able to make but at least I got it out to her the other day  I wish I made it in her favorite color but really I didn't have much time to even make the card so I'm glad I got something out to her.  It's simple and the LO and idea was lifted from Amy.

I will try and post some pictures of CHA soon!!!   And also some RAKs that I received from some of my wonderful friends.

Oh yeah one more thing, remember this CD Calendars I made for my friend Mindy?  Well if you left a comment on my blog previously and leave a comment on this post, I will give two lucky winners a copy of the calendars.  I will change Jan and Feb to 2011 since Jan passed and we're in the mid of Feb.  You will have until Friday to comment!  Winners will be announced Tuesday!  Good luck!

So cute!! I love the colors and I think anyone would love this card!! I must say that it's rare for that to happen to dogs, but surely CAN happen and it's so sad when it does. I am happy to hear that she is getting to be herself again and hope that she will be back to her 100% self!! We should get her to meet Sophie! When she is better of course!!
Hugs
Jodi =)
