OK, so I asked for a waiver from my friend Margarita aka Ninette. We both gave up on buying anything craft related for Lent (I know, sounds crazy but that was the only thing I could think of. AND was the only thing that was a major obsession for me.) Before Lent started I told Ninette that I needed to buy SU! items at the end of March before SAB ended...so that was initially the waiver. However when Marie of TGF came out with Easter Anya and Batter Ian, I just had to get it...OK, ok, I was only suppose to get Easter Anya for my Easter cards and I decided to do one transaction and grab Batter Ian...but my only rebuttal/defense would be Ninette was taking a Copic class and she got four or five Copic markers outta it...so all is fair in Love and War...hahaha! OK, not sure if that saying goes but you get the idea...LOL!
Anyhow, here's a card I made using the Batter Ian (I made the Easter Anya also but my Copics ink ran out so her face was all blotchy, gotta find a new color to use for skin...can't buy any until after Easter so I'll need to find one for skin tone.) All right enough of my babbling, here's my Batter Ian card:

Super Cute. I think God would rather you help the economy these days!
such a cute card! I love this batter Ian and you colored him so well! I think the new in is this blue and orange! now you make me want to by this stamp too!
I am always amazed at people who give up something for 40 days! that takes much courage and strength! it will be over...not soon enough though =)
Your card is beautiful. You did a great job coloring! I gave up buying craft supplies for Lent also, but like you, needed a waiver. God help us!
Love the card..she told me about that..i thought that was a good exchange because your card came out so cute....
Hi Claudette!! Oh your Ian card is so adorable! I love the colors and your fantastic coloring. . .so beautiful! Love your use of buttons too!!
Where in SD are you moving back to? I love waterfalls in the back yard. We had one when we were living in Hawaii so we decided to put one when we moved to Temecula. It just gives a peaceful feeling when you're sitting in your yard. Maintanence can be annoying but that's okay. . it's worth it.
I don't head to SD too often. . .once in a while when I'm in the mood. LOL! I think I may head there this week. . .maybe Escondido to take some photos.

Only consolation - the 2 boxes of SU stuff that came in ....oh! and the copic class on Sunday! YES! WE CAN DO IT!!
