Vacation

Hi Everyone!

Just letting you know there will be no new post for the next two weeks as I will be leaving on vacation back to my childhood home in Japan. I know I don't say much on this blog regarding my personal life (it's not that interesting). But for those that don't know, I grew up in Japan (I was a military brat and now a military spouse) and miss it everyday! I'm thrilled to be going back and will visit my old home and school again (I say again since I was just there last spring but the trip was cut short) and of course the shopping, Toyko and Disney. LOL!

Hopefully my creative juices will be flowin' when I get back and I can get back into the groove of creating!

Christmas 08 Stamp Camp Kit

Well it's finally here...lol! Finally finished the SC kits. It took me awhile because the first one I did was catered for Halloween, Bday cards and Christmas items. But of course with my luck the Simply Scrappin' I Wish set was on backorder. Therefore the SC kits were not completed and by the time I received them Halloween was done and over (*o*). So I decided to make this kit strictly Christmas. This kit contains two cards, three favors and four gift tags. Without further ado, here's a preview:

Fallin' for you

Initially this card was suppose to be a We've Moved/Our New House type of card however the stamps that I had didn't work well with it. I just couldn't make it work. So I decided to add the Hedgehog stamp from Penny Black. I just love this stamp and this is probably the second time I've used it since owning it. I'm not lovin' the card but it'll do for now... TFL! (excuse the poor lighting in the second photo...I'm too lazy to fix it...)

Get Well Card - Happy Healing

A card I made for our brother-in-law who was in the hospital this pass weekend. Thankfully it looks like things are getting better today since they released him. Thought I'd make a card for him and get him some goodies tomorrow before sending it out. TFL!
