Belated Easter Card, a RAK and an Award

Belated Happy Easter Everyone! (I know, I'm a whole week late!) Before I go on, I'd like to thank everyone who left me such nice comments! As I mentioned on my last post I left for the mainland to be with my family because my dad suffered a stroke and heart attack on April 1. By the the goodness of the LORD the stroke was not as bad as it could have been (he didn't report having the stroke for over 10 hours!). He has regained movement on his left side and is currently at the VA Hospital going through rehab. Once the doctors feel he's strong enough they will then proceed with a triple bypass. If it's not too much to ask if you could please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers. I would really appreciated it!

Moving on to a few cards I was able to make but wasn't able to send on time for Easter. Nothing special (just noticed that the flash from my camera really picks up a lot of my uneven coloring...ugh!). Just a little folder filled with stamped images, an idea I got from Jodi of Inked Inspirations:

And last but not least, I got this blog award from Joy of Tamiko's and Joy from A Place to be me. They are both two of the sweetest people I've met through the blogging world! Check out their sites which are filled with so many gorgeous inspirations!

As always I'm always last to hand out these awards and those I'd pass this down to have already been awarded! But there is one blogger who has been my friend since elementary (from Japan) that has started a new blog that deserves this award...so I'd like to give this to Margarita of Margarita Crafts head on to her blog and check it out! Aloha and thanks for stopping by!

Awww, your Anya card is a cutie. I think you did a beautiful job with your coloring. You know, I never use flash when taking photos of my card. I use natural lighting or OTT lamps with no flash. It helps to keep the integrity of the colors of your card.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad but I'm glad to hear that it's not bad. I hope he'll have a full recovery!!

Hey, I live in Temecula. Have you been to Temecula? It's a little far from San Diego. . by my standards! LOL! Coming from Hawaii, an hour drive is a road trip! Too funny!
