It's Release Day at The Greeting Farm!!!

Yay!  Today is release day and we got  SSSC  no. 24 Shana and no. 25 Carnival!  And I know you'll love them as much as we do!  They're both so stinkin' cute how could you not?!?  So to celebrate the new release I created two projects to share with you!

This first card is using SSSC no 24 Shana and inside it houses a gift card (can never need enough of these!)

And for my second card  using SSSC no 25 - Carnival.   I made a simple Carnival theme since her name after all is Carnival but you can use her in so many other ways.

SSSC PREVIEW OF CARNIVAL (SSSC NO 25)

Hi all!  I'm back with another preview!  Today we've got SSSC no. 25 Carnival.  I have to say she may be one of my favorites this year!  I think she's super duper cute, don't you?  Carnival and Shana will be available on the 15th.  Make sure to mark your calendars cause this may go fast!  If you're not that familiar with SSSC here's a little info on it:

The Greeting Farm's SSSC no 24 Shana Preview

Hello Friends!  It's the time of the month where we start previewing the new goodies coming to the store on the 15th!  Today me, Rosie and Joni are previewing Super Secret Stamp Club (SSSC) no. 24 Shana! There are so many ways I can dress this little cutie up!  On my project today, I opted to leave her as is, but I'm also thinking of doing a Hawaiian type theme with her.  The flower in her hair and the skirt can be made into a grass skirt like what Joni created.  You could also have her be a ballerina...so many possibilities!

The Greeting Farm has Bible Stamps!!!!

I'm super excited about these stamps!!!  I love documenting and journaling anything Faith base!  So I was extremely happy when Marie and I were discussing what stamp sets to create next!  I have been journaling in my Bible and wanted to do the artsy fartsy type stuff in my Bible.  But I wanted to buy a new Bible to do it in.  You see I have three Bibles.  One for reading, another for journaling and taking notes and the third for my art type stuff.  So this was perfect for my artsy Bible!  For my samples today I decided on making cards to show how versatile these stamps set are because the Guest DT showcased how to use the stamps in their Bibles.  So I wanted the viewers to see that this doesn't have to be just a stamp for your Bible.  I know a lot of people do not want to write or decorate their Bibles so this is perfect for your notebooks (where you journal and where you are comfortable decorating in), for cards, presents, daily documenting...anything!  So without going on and on...let me show you my creations...

Used the Trust in the Lord stamp set for my bookmark for my Bible.  

I made this card using Jesus is the Way stamp set for my husband's niece for her Confirmation.

Also used the Trust in the Lord stamp set for this is a simple 3x3 card

Lastly this is a card I made letting the recipient know 

they are Loved with the God is Awesome stamp set (^_^)

The Greeting Farm's Stamp Feature - OA Let's Grill

Hey, hey, I'm back for our last Stamp Feature!  Today we are featuring OA - Let's Grill!  I absolutely love this set because I'm using it as a Backyard BBQ/Movie night invitation and favors.  The sample I made is a mock up of my invitation.  I will definitely change some things around and the card color.  The background paper is that of a watermelon but you can't really see it so I wanna change it...I may use another color of the part where the wording is on but we'll see.  Anyhow, this is what my mock up looks like!

The Greeting Farm's Stamp Feature - Perk Up

Welcome back!  Today we are sharing the one and only photopolymer clear stamps released for the month - Perk Up!  I know I'll have tons of uses for this stamp set!  I absolutely love the smiley faces that come with it!  It reminds me of the kawaii type stuff I am use to growing up with in Japan and living in Hawaii!  For today's project I created one of my favorite Gift Card holders.  I believed it's called a "pop up gift card holder".  I stamped the coffee beans that came in the Mini-Remix Brewtiful stamp set for background and then stamped the cute To Go Coffee cup, cut it out using it's coordinating die cut and colored the lid and the sleeve red, stamped the happy face on it as well.  Then I covered both the lid and the sleeve with Glossy Accents to give it a "pop".

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature - Anya Shops

 

Hello Friends!  Ugh, this is my second time writing this as I accidentally deleted the first one...waahhhhh!  I'm so mad at myself!  Anyhow...  If you didn't know, yesterday The Greeting Farm released three new stamps sets.  Two were 4x6 red rubber stamps sets - Anya Shops and OA - Let's Grill and one clear photopolymer stamp set called Perk Up (has a coordinating die as well) for all you coffee lovers!  I can't seem to pick a favorite since I have some big plans using all three stamp sets and I know you will as well!  So for today's feature, I decided to create another bookmark...as most of my regulars know, I love reading and I often read more than one book at a time!  I don't know why I do it, I just do.  I really need to just finish a book then move on to the next!  But I don't so I always need several bookmarks.  I do have a Kindle (use it primarily for night time ready), but really there's nothing like turning an actual page over to read the next.  First world problems I tell ya!  hahahaha!  Anyhow, I digress...let move on and check out the bookmark using one of my new favorite stamp set - Anya Shops!

It's Release Day at The Greeting Farm!

Woohoo!  It's release day!  We got four new stamps available today!  That's SSSC no. 22 Krystal, no. 23 Azary, Cutesy Anya (clear stamp), Cutesy Anya die cut, For You Anya (clear stamp) and For You Anya die cut!  Have I told you how much I love the die cuts?!?!?!  (^_^)

Now lets get into my projects:

First card I decided to create a simple winter scene.  If you look closely, I am using two new stamp sets in this card...

SSSC no. 23 Azary simple Birthday card...

For You Anya, I created a little holder to house my chocolate bar.  This will be going to one of the nurses at my FIL's nursing home...need to make a few more (^_^)

As an extra while waiting for my Cutesy Anya (didn't get it on time) I made this box and stuck For You Anya on it since she actually matched the ice cream better anyhow...  I've gotten request to do a tutorial on her, so I think I'll do one on The Greeting Farm's YT channel.  So please be on the lookout for it!

Hello!  I'm back with another preview!  Today we are previewing another Super Secret Stamp Club (SSSC) no. 23 Azary!  I'm always leering when it comes to my male stamps.  Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to have masculine stamps as I need to make masculine cards.  I just have a hard time with masculine cards...but with a few trials with different layouts I finally come up with a card.  When it comes to male cards I try to keep them as simple as possible!

The Greeting Farm Special Release - Lovable Anya

Hello Friends!  Happy, Happy Easter!!!!  It's a wonderful day and the day our Lord and Savior was resurrected!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."  "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." ~John 3:16-17  

John 3:16-17 is my all time favorite scriptures!  It's basically what Christianity is all about!  Whoever believes in Jesus Christ will have eternal life!  Simple as that!

I hope everyone is enjoying what the true meaning of Easter is all about and spending it with all your love ones!

Today The Greeting Farm has a special release.  They released a new clear stamp called Lovable Anya!  She's so stinkin' cute!  Now hurry on over and grab yourself this new Anya!  I've been hearing these new clear Anya stamps are selling out fast!

Now onto my project.  I created this card and decided not to include a sentiment, wanted it to be versatile for all kinds of occasion.  I may be sending this to an old High School friend's mom who just moved into a new Nursing Home.  Thanks for stopping by!

New Video - Altenew Haul

The Greeting Farm's March 2016 New Releases

My apologies for not getting these up on time!  My mother-in-law had a massive stroke back on Feb 19.  We were unaware of the serious of her condition until the 21st because we had to wait to find out if her new pacemaker was able to withstand the MRI.   Needless to say when we found out on the 21st that the damage was irreversible we had stayed by her side until she passed which was on Feb 25 :(  It took two weeks before we could bury her so it was a long drawn out process and not to mention we are now caring for my FIL who has Alzheimer.  So lots of big changes and adjustments happening over here at the SP household.  Needless to say, we had my MIL's funeral this past Monday and I am slowly but surely getting back to a somewhat regular routine.  

So with that, lets move on to my samples for The Greeting Farm's new release:

This first card is from the set "I Love Dad"  (there's also a coordinating die!)and I immediately fell in love with it since I don't find too many masculine stamps AND that golf cart!  My dad was an avid golfer, but after his stroke he hasn't had a chance to play.  Never the less I thought this card would be perfect for him come Father's Day!

This next set is called "I Love Mom"  which also has a coordinating die as well!  I decided to use the stamps as the background to my card! Simple but love how it turned out!  This will be going out to my mom who's birthday is next week!

This last stamp is a red rubber Anya stamp called Mon Amie Anya!  I think she's so adorable and wanted to keep this card as simple as possible!

First Look Video of The Greeting Farm's new clear Starry Anya stamp and Die

Hello Friends!  The Greeting Farm has release a new clear Anya stamp called Starry Anya which has a coordinating die (separate purchase).  If you're like me, I'm a lazy fussy cutter...hahahaha!  So when Marie (Owner and Artist of The Greeting Farm) told me she'll be releasing clear Anya stamps and matching dies...I just died (no pun intended!).  Anyhow, I have a video about it on The Greeting Farm blog but will post it on my blog as well.  Enjoy and please feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions on what products I used or if you need more clarification!

I created a matching card to go with my previous Keurig cup favor box using SSSC no. 20 Evie.  Simple and to the point.

For my second project I created this heart shaped bag filled with candies using SSSC no. 21 Blaire.  Always love slapping on any TGF to  my favor/bags/boxes and it makes it look super cute, don't you think?  (^_~)

Preview Day at The Greeting Farm

 

Sorry folks, I completely forgot to post my TGF preview for SSSC no. 20 Evie.  Today I'll be previewing both stamp since I didn't post yesterday's.  These two stamps were part of the SSSC subscription and wlll be available to everyone on Feb 15.

First project using SSSC no. 20 Evie I decided to create a small Keurig coffee treat/favor.  I have tons of the these Keurig coffee, tea and hot cocoa cups that I can no longer use because two of my Keurigs died and I don't plan on getting another one since I no longer drink coffee.  We bought the Keurigs for guest but now that we are back home by family and friends we don't have as many guest visiting since everyone is here!  LOL!  So I like to make these little treat/favors for neighbors, friends and whomever I see as a little "treat".  I thought Evie was perfect since she's holding a mug...  

 For SSSC no. 21 Blaire I decided to create a Valentines day goodie box since Valentine's day is this Sunday.  I paper pieced her with the coordinating paper I used on the favor box.  I like to do this technique when I'm press for time.  AND I like doing this if I have coordinating paper so I know it matches perfectly!
