Stamps for Sale!

Hello fellow crafters! I've been MIA I know! Family stuff and a nice vacay to Europe was what took me away from blogland and crafting.  But I'm back, and hopefully I can blog on occasion.  I will definitely craft, its just getting me to blog is the problem...lol! Anyhow, I'll try to make more of an effort, especially since the holiday season is coming and I got lots of crafting to do!  

Anyhow, I need to get to the point of this post (^_^).  I have some new and old stuff up for sale, please contact me if you want any right away if you want any of these because I am also posting them on Craigslist.  Hope you like some of these stamps, I love them all but I haven't been using any in so long, I figure it's best for me to give it to someone who'll make good use of them. As always prices are negotiable.

Back to blogging, sort of...

Its been five months since I last blogged! Wowzer! To be honest, with Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, I really don't have time to blog. Blogging takes a lot from you, you have to compose a post, resize pictures, add my siggie and upload it all.  Not only is it a pain to do all this, I rarely upload my pics from my phone onto my computer. Until of course I'm outta space.  With that said if you haven't guessed it, my phone had no more room for pics I was over 4000+ pics, so I had to finally upload them to my computer and save it onto my EHD. Not a fun process!  Anyhow, this post will be picture heavy with a few of the things I've created.  So sit back and enjoy the show (^_^)

Wedding Card

Happy Aloha Friday everyone! I hope you all got to watch the youtube video.  I pray to GOD it doesn't happen but if it does we will all be better prepared.  I still have to finish putting my emergency bag together and buy Roxy some dog food.  I don't normally give her dog food but for emergency cases, dog food would have to do. 

Anyhow, I had to quickly make this Wedding card for dh's Deputy.  I opted to use SU!s Fifth Avenue Flora (this is has to be one of my favorite SU! stamp sets.) because I don't think she would like an Anya based card...I'd save my TGF for close family, friends and nieces...LOL!  This had to be a bit more elegant.  I usually try to go simple when it comes to Wedding and Sympathy cards.  I definitely think less is more.  Anyhow, here's my card.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!  Aloha! 

Another Bday Card!

This time its for my girl Les!  She's been such a great friend and so glad to have met her and gotten close to her!  Les is a shabby chic kinda chick and well, I don't do shabby chic.  So I decided to make her a card that was more me so she can remember me when I finally leave the island.  So here's the card I made for her...

Today is my MIL's bday and I'm late as usual! Ugh! Anyhow, another CASE'd card changed the colors and there you have it.  It would have been better had I measured it correctly.  This is what happens when I wait last minute and I have no time to redo...dang!  Any who...  Here's my card...I just love this stamp set!

Congratulations Jon, Margarita and family!

Wanted to congratulate my girl Margarita, her hubby Jon and their kids for another step up the Military Laddar!  Margarita's dh made CWO3 (Chief Warrant Officer 3) which is a huge step!!!   It's definitely well deserved!!!  Made this card for the family and included a few goodies in the package.  Congrats again Delacruz family!!!  Come to HI so we can celebrate!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's bday...so I wanna wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  She, my dad and bro are all in SD visiting my little sister so her package of goodies were sent to my sister's place.  Hope she likes the stuff.  Anyhow, here's my card for her...yes another lift.  I take no credit for this!  I've been having a hard time using other stamps...LOL!  In actuality it should be easier since I don't have to color anything in...oh well...I love this card (well, I love the original!) and hope the mother dearest will do.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hodge Podge of favorites...

...I made this card using a few of my favorite supplies!  I love the stamped clouds from Hero Arts, the oval and oval scallop punch from SU!, the icicle punch that I used for grass from Martha Stewart, CC Design stamp and of course my copics to colored the image.  Really these are a few of my favorite things and I actually used them all on one card LO.  Another simple card but that's how I roll!

That's it...come back Monday I SHOULD have the blogcandy up for preview.  Don't quote me (I feelin' another staycation in the works) hahaha!

I'm here...

Sorry friends!  I'm here, well barely but I'm here!  Last week was a horrible week for me.  Roxy was spayed on Monday, they say that it should take her about a day or so to get back to her regular self.  But she didn't!  She wasn't feeling well the whole week.  Maybe one day she was all right but for the most part she was really down, depressed and in pain.  I rushed her to the vets Thursday night and it's a good thing I did!  She had a temp of 105.5.  Regular temp for dogs are about 101.  They gave her antibiotics and it seemed to bring her temp down but it wasn't always consistent.  Once her pain meds ended she was really miserable.  Thankfully yesterday she' was about 85% back to normal.  Hopefully today she'll be 95 to 100%.  I take her to the vets today for suture check up.  That was actually my main concern.  I thought she would lick the area but she didn't.  Besides that my in-laws are here and have been staying in my room .  They actually left last night for the Hale Koa to be with other family members and won't be back here until next week so I have a bit of a break.  Whew!  I so need a break!

Anyhow, I was able to make a card for a friend for her bday.  I'm a bit sad this was all I was able to make but at least I got it out to her the other day  I wish I made it in her favorite color but really I didn't have much time to even make the card so I'm glad I got something out to her.  It's simple and the LO and idea was lifted from Amy.  

 

I will try and post some pictures of CHA soon!!!   And also some RAKs that I received from some of my wonderful friends.

Happy Monday!

Aloha! I'm back and well, I think I may be coming down with something :( Hopefully it's just my body being tired. We'll see! I got back last Thursday, rushed to drop off dh so he can go to work, went to the other side of the island to pick up the little furbaby and then all the way back to my neck of the woods. Walked into the house, luggages everywhere. We had a total of 5 check ins and 4 carry ons! Yes folks, I had to buy another suitcase! To be honest, I didn't think I shopped that much, but when you have a whole week to do nothing but shop while dh is working and you buy a little something every day it adds up! LOL! Any who, when I got home, I unloaded the suitcase w/the clothes so I could start on laundry got a quarter of it emptied and decided I could not stay awake any longer and went to bed. Didn't get up until dh called to check on us and to tell me he was coming home early cause he was sick. Got up to make dinner and then went to bed after. Friday, dh called in sick, we woke up about noon (I think) pretty much stayed in bed...him being sick, me being jetlagged. Friday night he was up doing some stuff in the living room, I was still unpacking and we both didn't go to bed until 2 or 3 cause of the time difference. Needless to say we did not wake up until 1 PM! Yup, that's right 1 PM! Of course I was in a mad rush to clean, do laundry and fix the upstairs bedroom since the first wave of family was arriving Sunday! Second wave is coming Tuesday and the third wave is who knows when since they are taking Military Space A. Anyhow, I have not been able to create so what I'm posting is what I created before I left for Japan. Jacilynn was looking for a prego bella and I happen to have Teddy Bella (I think that's what it's called) and I wanted to house them in something cute so I made those envelope holders. This idea was lifted from Lianne and I just love making them! Thanks so much Lianne for the idea! I won't be posting much but hopefully I'll have time to post what I create for the holidays! Gift Card Box

Happy Aloha Friday! Quick post since it's super late! I made this Gift Card Box for some GC's I'm making for a Craft Fair I'm participating in. Made a set of GC Holders of different occasion and decided to make a box to house them. That's it! LOL! Got the image from Miss Janis. I'm sorry but I don't remember the name of the bear, I swear Janis mentioned it to me several times, but I think I was overwhelm with her collection. If anyone knows what they're called, please let me know. Mahalo! Hope you all have a great weekend! BTW, I got the box tutorial from Keri Metzger, she made a Crayon Box but the dimensions were too small for me so I had to change it up a bit. Pls. let me know if you'd like my dimensions and I'll post.

Fancy Favor Halloween Treat and SU! Holiday Mini Catalog

Short post today. Made another sample using the Sweet Center Stamp set and SU! Fancy Favor die. Also used the Circle Cutter for the middle of the Favor box to cut the window. TFS!

Halloween Treats!

Can you believe that it's almost Halloween? I can't! But I have to say I'm sooo excited for Halloween! I think Halloween and Christmas are definitely my favorite holidays!

Anyhow, this leads me to today's project. Stampin' UP! has really outdone themselves this year! Starting on September 1, you can order the stamp set I used called Sweet Centers ($29.95) along with the Sweet Treat Cups (for an unbelievable price of $2.95 for 12). Here I filled the Sweet Treat Cups with Tic-Tac, and used the EEK stamp from the Sweet Centers set. When I saw the set and the cups, I knew I had to preorder it ASAP!!! I just love this idea and will use this set throughout the year since they have a Christmas, Valentine and Flower stamp that's in the set! This is a perfect favor/treat and is so easy and quick to make! Again this will be available September 1! Tote-Ally Awesome Tote!

I love this tote, OK, maybe not mine but the idea and the one Becky made! This is a trial version. There are still a bunch of things I've learned while putting this all together and hopefully the next one will come up way better than this. LOL! Anyhow, I wanted to post as I don't have anything else to post. Been busy getting ready for my class and I've got two orders for Baby Announcements, Baptism and Change of address. Blog Sistah's!

This past Saturday me and a few other bloggin' sistahs went to Teri's (Big Ideas From a Little Girl) to help her prepare a few things for an event she's hosting. It was so much fun gettin' to know all who went! I hadn't laughed this much in so long! Great times and great ladies! I wanted to make them a little something cause all of these ladies had given me a RAK.

Note Purse

OK I have no one to give this to but wanted to make it. I'm glad I made this cause I had the hardest time putting it together. Yeah it's a simple purse but sometimes when it's my first time creating it, I always make tons of mistakes! I'm thinking I should do it one way but I really should have followed the directions step by step! Ugh...oh well live and learn! Anyhow, as I uploaded the picture I can see some minor mistakes here and there so good thing this was just a test run.

I'll post the tutorial for the GC holder and a link to a tutorial for this one tomorrow (hopefully). It's late and I'm feeling blah! Its a wonder I decided to create tonight! As usual, thanks for stopping by! Aloha!
