Back to blogging, sort of...

Its been five months since I last blogged! Wowzer! To be honest, with Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, I really don't have time to blog. Blogging takes a lot from you, you have to compose a post, resize pictures, add my siggie and upload it all.  Not only is it a pain to do all this, I rarely upload my pics from my phone onto my computer. Until of course I'm outta space.  With that said if you haven't guessed it, my phone had no more room for pics I was over 4000+ pics, so I had to finally upload them to my computer and save it onto my EHD. Not a fun process!  Anyhow, this post will be picture heavy with a few of the things I've created.  So sit back and enjoy the show (^_^)

Still here...

...just been busy and lazy all at the same time.  I know, how's that possible?  Don't know but I've that is whats truly going on in my live.  My post will get fewer and far between until next year.  But please do check back from time to time cause I will post when I can (if laziness doesn't win).

Oh and have you noticed they're already coming out with Halloween designs...crazy!  It's only August and CC Designs has their Halloween line out! Wowzer!  I made these favor samples for Pineapple Cove.  I don't normally give Halloween cards but we all make/do Halloween favors.  I have to say Halloween is one of my favorite holidays besides Christmas!  So here are a couple of favors I made...will post more throughout the week (if I can get to it)

Happy Birthday Michelle!

Yesterday was Michelle's bday and I didn't want to post the card until she received it  It was a super simple card.  Decided to use HK since that's her favorite.  I'm still in a bit of a funk so I lifted my card (more lifts to come) and made a little bag to house some little goodies.  It's really hard getting my craft friends anything, I never know what they have so I opted to get her a gift card.  Hope she liked it.

Hello Kitty Birthday Calendar Book

Got this idea from PTI. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make one. I alter mine a tad bit. Had I gone w/the their idea, I would have used too many CS as I would like. Not sure if I'll be making these for the Craft Fair but wanted to try it. TFL!

Another Digi Invite

Seriously haven't had time to create for fun or for me...oh well! Nice to be busy and racking in some extra mula (^o^) LOL! Made this invite for my friend back home...same person I did the baby announcement and change of address. This is of her dd (obviously...lol!). Its a Hello Kitty themed party. I personally don't like saturating the invite w/all kinds of graphics. I feel it takes away from the main purpose. Again, another simple card. I'm not sure she'll go for it so this may not be the final invite. I personally like it...hahaha! And believe me, I don't normally like everything I create.

A few RAKs

OMG, I'm so behind on posting my RAKs! Please by all means, don't think I'm not thankful! I am! I've been so busy last few months! When I receive a RAK, I immediately keep it! I do so I don't loose it in my craft mess of madness and I don't want it to get dirty or anything. If you send me something that's wrapped in cello, I won't open it! haha! Call me crazy but it's true! LOL! Anyhow here are a few RAKs I'd like to share. If you don't see yours, please know I will post soon (^o^) And please know that I'm really THANKFUL for all your kindness!

This first one is from my gf Margarita, she bought me a Copic Multiliner and made this cute card! For those that have a FB account, you all know I recently caved and finally got a Cricut! I resisted for sooo long but because I'm participating in a Craft Fair this holiday, I figured it'll help me w/mass producing! Anyhow, I just learned how to use it and made the HK face...so cute! Right now I'm borrowing my bff Joy's cartridge until mine arrives (thanks Joy!). BTW, she has an awesome store called Tamiko's. Check it out and shop your heart out! (^o^)

This next RAK is from my dear friend and owner of Pineapple Cove, ManLe! We had a get together at her store this weekend. She taught us how to make an Explosion Box. I've always wanted to make one but never had the chance or knew how! It was neat-o! LOL! I would post the pic, but I took a really crappy one. I'm always posting so late my eyes aren't working well...so I'll have to take another pic and post it later. Anyhow, she gave us these cute soaps that are shaped as slippahs and plumeria, sooo cute! I'll never open or use them ever! haha! If you live on the island and have yet to visit the store, I strongly suggest you do, not only is it a scrapbook store, but ManLe is such a sweet person! Oh and check out her blog right now since my baby Roxy is featured on her blog! LOL!

I got these goodies from Joy U. Won it on her blog! Can you believe all the great goodies she gave?!?!?! Wow! I love it! Along w/the goodies, she made me a checkbook cover and a folder of images! I'll post those tomorrow! But for now here's what she had posted on her blog, I took it from her site because I had used some papers already and I figured it was easier cause really I'm so lazy right now! LOL!

And last but not least, I got a RAK from the talented Enjoli! She sent me one of her famous HK notebooks! Can you see how cute it is? And yes folks, the plastic is still on. Anyhow, not only did she send the notebook but she sent a stamp (I've been wanting for some time now) and some other goodies! Wow, can you say I'm blessed to have great friends? I truly am! Ladies thanks so much!!!

I just love the simplicity of this box! It was super easy to make and I can bust out with a bunch of these if I had to! I think I'll be making these boxes when I have to house some goodies! Not much else to write about so here's my project, hope you like it! Aloha!

Blog Sistah's!

This past Saturday me and a few other bloggin' sistahs went to Teri's (Big Ideas From a Little Girl) to help her prepare a few things for an event she's hosting. It was so much fun gettin' to know all who went! I hadn't laughed this much in so long! Great times and great ladies! I wanted to make them a little something cause all of these ladies had given me a RAK.

Happy Hump Day!

Sorry for the short entries these last few days! I've been so busy with work and appointments. And to top it off my dh signed us up for golf lessons...ugh! LOL! I've always wanted to take them but this week has been busy and been going to the hospital (no worries just wanted to get something checked) for the last two days and I was just so not in the mood. Another reason why I was a bit hesitant cause I have no hand-eye coordination so I thought it would be a waste of time...but needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! I missed hitting the ball here and there but I got quite a few ones out there...woo hoo! LOL! OK, thanks for letting me get that out! haha!

On to today's creation. The tote is from PTI and I had bought it when it first came out and am just now using it. Been dying to make it but didn't have anyone to give it to until now...LOL! I love it and want to make more. But I'm the type of person who only makes 3D type stuff only if I have someone to give it to. I would hate to make one and just have it sit around my craft area collecting dust waiting for a good home. So I usually make them when needed and thankfully I had someone to give it to. This is to one of my blog sisters who's super sweet. I hope she likes it.

I actually made the tote first and after I put it all together I realized that HK was white...I should have made her tan. Lets just say Miss Hello Kitty was visiting from Japan and she was super white and now that she's been here for a few days she's gotten her tan on (^o^) LOL! Corny I know!

OK now onto my tip on printing digi papers. Now I'm pretty sure that most of you print 8.5 x 11 right? You open the the DP and crop at 8.5 x11. Then you open the next DP and do the same and so on and so fourth. You probably don't use the whole sheet and left w/scraps that you probably save for later (but most of us know you don't always go back to use them). So here's how I do it and I've been able to save my ink. What I do it open up four of the DP I want to print. Then I crop each to 4.25x5.5. Once I got all four DP cropped, I then transfer them onto an 8.5x11 sheet. So basically I have four DP on one 8.5x11 paper. I don't have to print out all four DP individually. So finally when I print, I go to my settings and choose "borderless paper" which prints on the entire sheet. Check your printer settings and look around for these settings, they may be worded differently but do the same thing. So there you have it! Two cards I made this evening...had lots of fun using my new Hello Kitty Dies. When I went to buy them at J's I didn't realize they were tiny. I thought they'd be the same size as the first HK dies...to my delight they weren't and they were so much cheaper!!!

Cute Purse and a sweet RAK

Short post today, got an order of invites for a Bridal Shower due this week. So creating for myself is far and few (*0*)

Onto what I've worked on today (while waiting for all the Shower details) is a little purse (lifted this from Enjoli) that holds HK note pads and pen for Grayton (4 years old) who's fighting Leukemia. She loves HK and anything Sanrio related. Saw a bunch of these cute packs of notepads and pens and thought she'd enjoy it along with the purse to take with her during her chemo. She loved the card I gave her earlier and apparently took it with her to the hospital during one of her chemo sessions and wouldn't let it go. So I figured she could write down little notes and what not with this gift. I'm thinking of getting her a few more things to put inside it tomorrow before sending.

Hello Kitty Card for Grayton

Here's a quick and simple card I did for my good friend's daughter Grayton. She was diagnosed the day after Christmas with leukemia. She just turned four. I am sending her a little princess set (toy) and I know she likes Hello Kitty. If you don't mind praying for her we'd really appreciate it! Mahalo!
