Another quick project

First off, I have to say how much I love these little tote/purse whatever you'd like to call them.  They're really simple and quick to make when you're in a hurry.  Literally I colored Sing 5 minutes before heading out the door.  And sorry to say you can so tell!  Oh well...It wasn't as bad as some of my other coloring...lol!  As always thanks for stoppin' by!

Sorry about the picture...I shouldn't have taken the pic in front of the window...ay!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's bday...so I wanna wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  She, my dad and bro are all in SD visiting my little sister so her package of goodies were sent to my sister's place.  Hope she likes the stuff.  Anyhow, here's my card for her...yes another lift.  I take no credit for this!  I've been having a hard time using other stamps...LOL!  In actuality it should be easier since I don't have to color anything in...oh well...I love this card (well, I love the original!) and hope the mother dearest will do.  Thanks for stopping by!

RAK from Joy

Here's one more RAK that I got from my girl Joy U.  She is the Shaker and Easel Queen!  I adore her work and just love my easel drawer.  This beauty has been sitting on my desk and I look at it everyday.  I don't dare open the candies in it as it is package nicely.  Yeah, call me crazy but I'm like that!  Anyhow I want to thank Joy for always being an inspiration, for her tutorials and her kind comments.  MAHALO NUI LOA!!!

Thank you!!

I apologize for not posting this sooner!  I've been lazy, the desk is a mess, tryin' to do several things at once I just got overwhelm!  But hey, tha'ts life...things don't always go as you hoped and well...this is what happens.  I became lazy and in a funk due to an overwhelming sensation...  Anyhow, I wanted thank all my good friends for always thinking of me!

First RAK is from Miss Janis...she's so sweet!  She gave me this for Valentine's day...I love it and the yummy candies!  Janis knows my love for TGF stamps!  Thank you Janis you are such a sweet friend!!!

This next one was from Jodi...this was during one of our get togethers that I could not make but she was sweet enough to give and make me one!  I love it and as you can see, I have yet to actually open it.  And did you see, I got a Belle's and Whistles stamp?  Woohoo, my first one!!!  I definitely need to ink it up and use it!!  Thank you Jodi!

This one is from Joni another sweetie!  Check out the packaging!  And love, love, love the Hello Kitty post-it notes!!!  Yeay!  Thank you Joni!!

Last but not least, this is from Liann!  Can you see Edward glistening?  Whoa mama!  Cute stamps and I just love the cupcake stickers!!!  Thank you Liann for always being so sweet and thoughtful!

I have one more but couldn't take a picture of it cause I had already put the stuff away and used some of it so I didn't want to take a pic of it half used.  However I still wanted to thank my girl Margarita!  She bought me a ream of Neenah paper...cheapest I've found and she included some goodies, like a paw punch, stickers, ribbons...and all I asked was for the Neenah paper!  What a girl!  Thanks peks!!!  You da best!

Thanks again everyone!  Even though it takes me forever to post, I want you to know I am truly thankful and bless that I have such great friends!!

Happy Birthday Michelle!

Yesterday was Michelle's bday and I didn't want to post the card until she received it  It was a super simple card.  Decided to use HK since that's her favorite.  I'm still in a bit of a funk so I lifted my card (more lifts to come) and made a little bag to house some little goodies.  It's really hard getting my craft friends anything, I never know what they have so I opted to get her a gift card.  Hope she liked it.

I've been getting emails regarding the supplies I used.  So here they are:

HK w/balloons - Sizzix
HK head - Cricuit HK Cartridge
Sakura Flowers on bag - Cricut Pagoda Cartridge
CS - SU! Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze
DP - Mindy Terasawa's Pink Sonata Digital Kit

Easter Chick...

...now don't go thinking this is mine.  Well it is but I totally copied it from Mindy...I'm really tryin' to get use to my tablet and pen tool and all the other tools within the program.  So again, I just want to say, I copied Mindy's chick...here' s my version:

Glad to know that everyone is interested in my news...haven't gotten the green light yet, but as soon as I do, I will announce it here on my blog!  Come back again later today, I hope to have one more post!

Oh and one more thing...I bought a movie today called Hachi.  It stars Richard Gere .  This is a very touching story.  I have yet to see the movie, my mom called to tell me I had to buy it and when she told me the synopsis I knew I had to get it. So today while running errands I drove from Costco - Target - Walmart to look for it.  Found it at Walmart for $15!  Not bad.  Anyhow, the movie is based on a true story from Japan.  I heard about it all my life and when dh and I visited Japan I begged him to see the Statue of the dog.   I'm so happy we did and excited to watch the movie.  Watched the trailer earlier today and bawled!  Anyhow...thought I'd share this with you...here's the trailer:

Aloha!

An Apology and an Easter Egg

OK I'm back apologizing for not coming through yet again with my promises...eek!  I'm not normally this bad...OK,  maybe I am.  But this time I really have a good reason.  For the last couple of days I've been out taking friends around the island as they are visiting from the mainland.  While it's so tiring playing tour guide, I have to say it was really nice to have friends from back home to catch up with and just enjoy each others company.  So needless to say I have not worked on anything crafty...well at least the crafty stuff you guys normally expect.  I've been forcing myself to learn my programs so I can start on making some digital kits.  Tonight I drew some Easter stuff none of which were my own creations...just copied a few drawings and made them my own.  Just so I could familiarize myself w/the software that I haven't used in nine months and even back then I wasn't as comfortable with it as I am now...so I'd like to post one of the drawings and hope to make a kit out of it for fun...we'll see how far I can get before Easter...

Meet Miss Egg-cellent (hahaha...don't know what to call her but that just came to mind...corny I know!). We'll see what I can do to make something out of this and the other stuff...

Oooh and I got some Egg-citing (haha!  Yeah, yeah, CORNY!) news that I received today but cannot share it until I've gotten the green light. Stay tune!

Thanks for stopping by! Aloha!

In a funk!

So the weekend came and went.  Had to take care of a few things before dh went on travel.  Needless to say, I haven't created much this weekend.  So I'm posting a Birthday Invite and Thank You card I made for two of my friends.

Oh yeah as you can see, I didn't get a chance to take pic of the blogcandy...sigh, if I am still up to it later I will.  I'm really, really sorry, I've just been in a funk.  Altho, it's not hard to take a picture of a bunch of stuff...uploading and compressing the pic takes a bit of time.  Ugh...I will, soon, I promise!

OK, onto my cards.  First card is the Thank You card that goes with this invite.

Second card is an invitation for my gf Margarita's youngest, isn't he a cutie?

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Hodge Podge of favorites...

...I made this card using a few of my favorite supplies!  I love the stamped clouds from Hero Arts, the oval and oval scallop punch from SU!, the icicle punch that I used for grass from Martha Stewart, CC Design stamp and of course my copics to colored the image.  Really these are a few of my favorite things and I actually used them all on one card LO.  Another simple card but that's how I roll!

That's it...come back Monday I SHOULD have the blogcandy up for preview.  Don't quote me (I feelin' another staycation in the works) hahaha!

Is it Thursday already?!?!

Wow, this week is going by super duper fast!  I'm tryin' to catch up on  my card making as I have several friends and family who's birthdays are this month.  So I'm tryin' to crank out some cards...not easy when your mojo isn't all there.  This first card I used CC Design's Sugarplums Lil' Bug Emma along with some Making Memories paper (I think it's from Making Memories, please correct me if I'm wrong) that I got from Pineapple Cove

This next project was using my CD Calendar that I created for Mindy, which you can purchase here.  Originally this was intended to be housed in a CD case. But when I got the calendar from the printers, I got lazy and then decided that I would use my BIA and then of course got too lazy to pull the BIA out and saw this vertical stand (I'm thinking of painting it to match all my other fixtures on my desk, but it'll have to wait until I move back to the mainland) that I had bought last year just sitting in the corner of my desk.  Perfect!  All I had to do was punch two holes on top and hang it!  Donzo!

Thanks again for stopping by!  I need to take pics of my RAKs still so if you gave me one, I truly am grateful, I've just been so darn lazy and soo not motivated for some reason!!!  Sorry!!!

I'm also tryin' to gather some blogcandy together to post and pick a winner.  I apologize for the delay in this but if you read the above para, then you'll see why.

One more thing, I had a question about my Amazing Duo cards...where did I get the paper...I actually just made it from comic books...  Of course I didn't draw or create it but I just put it together, PS it on the computer and voila`!

Sugarplums Lil' Bug Emma was bought at Cute Stuff.

Ahhhhh....I'm back!

Hello friends! Sorry for the week long absent!  Dh went on travel last week and I decided I needed a "stay-cation" of doing absolutely nothing!  OK, maybe not all true but for the most part I didn't fix my bed, didn't do laundry, didn't cook, slept in and took plenty of naps (^o^)  Yes, you can say I have a pretty nice life.  LOL!  I may have another stay-cation next week too!  hahaha!  We'll see just how lazy I can be...  I will say last week's stay-cation worked wonders.  i was just so tried from my Japan trip (yes, the one I took in Dec), my family visiting from Dec - Jan, the trip to LA, the in-laws visiting for 3 weeks, catching up on all the stuff after all the visitors left...so this break was much needed!  I did craft here and there but nothing serious.  After this break I'm really not motivated to do much...LOL!  Sigh, it'll slowly come back, I hope.

Any who, I made this card for my gf ManLe (She owns Pineapple Cove at Kahala Mall).  Her bday is today!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANLE!!!  Wishing you all the best and hope you enjoy your special day after work of course!  LOL!

Made this card  using CC Design's Sugarplums Balloon Emma.  I think this stamp along with Balloon Trevor and Party Emma are so adorable.  Been meaning to ink these stamp since I bought them end of Jan.  I also got this outrageously huge Sugarplum set that I will hopefully ink up this week...so be on the lookout for more CC Design cards/projects.  The card is real simple card but hey, all my cards are simple.  What's  new...hahaha!

These cupcakes are from Roxy to her Aunty ManLe.   Yeah, yeah, I'm using the same pic of Roxy again...it's my fave and her hair is so uneven right now.

Thanks again for stopping by!  I hope to post the blogcandy, CHA pics and some cool RAKs I got.

CC Design stamps were purchased from Cute Stuff.  Sorry, Lianne doesn't have a website, but if you're visiting the islands you can visit her store here:
